Royal Gold was an importer's personal herdsire selection in the last Peruvian importation (considered by many to be the most selective). His presence and fiber qualities were so noticeable as a weanling that the importer kept RG for himself. He has sired numerous Champion and Blue ribbon offspring. He has very uniform fleece with fine crimp and a very long staple length. Many of his high quality offspring have been featured in some of the national auctions. We are amazed at the reproducibility of his flawless features and presence. He improves fineness and crimp. One of his latest crias is measured only 14.3 AFD and a Curve (crimp) of 56.9. Phenomenal!
