Dona Delecia
Huacaya, Female, Proven | White
ARI# 1426595, D.O.B. 8/20/2004, Full Peruvian
Sire: Peruvian Altair ARI#
818555 White CHAMPION AND MULTIPLE SHOW WINNING PRODUCER! An Accoyo Don Juan son, Altair is out of parents who are both Peruvian imports. His strong stature, conformation, density and fleece characteristics have placed him as Reserve Champion 2x's by senior AOBA judges.
His crias are superb. He has sired multiple champion and blue ribbon offspring. They exhibit his density, bundling and coverage. Altair is curious and is very tolerant of human interaction. His crias also exhibit his easy to handle nature and strong presence.
Altair has thrown more color than white when bred to white. He has every color on the ground, including rose grey and has even thrown a bay black from a white female.
A lease, partnership or full sale would be considered for Altair. With 18 males born here in the last year, we are very short on male space.
Dam: RC April ARI#
816548 White A beautiful female and an excellent foundation dam that produces show winning crias. She has a very fine fleece with elite character, density and brightness. April is the result of multiple generations of quality breedings originating from Accoyo and Allianza programs. April is an Accoyo Felix daughter and Hemingway Granddaughter.
She is very calm and easy to handle and passes this trait on to her crias. Her current cria has always placed at the top of her class in level 5 shows.
Her offspring, including females, have consistently produced 8 to 10 lbs of fleece. They are extremely dense.
Service Sire: Accoyo America Apocalypse ARI#
851697 White Apocalypse had been one of the most prepotent offspring of PCA Hemi-Accoyo Nautilus. Starting out with a multiple championship show career Apocalypse has produced significant results as a herdsire.
Placing in the top 10 white males for increased fleece weight among the top 1% of reducing fineness. His offspring are also found among the top of the EPD ranking for persistent fineness. His offspring through age 6 remains under 20 micron at 19.5 AFDand SD of 4.2.
He has produced more of the top 25 herdsires in the EPD program for reducing fineness and increasing fleece weight. That is quite an accomplishment for our comparatively little herd. Apocalypse stands in no ones shadow. A multiple Champion with multiple champion offspring and is also one of the top males in the EPD program for AFD and FW.
His offspring have great conformation, full fleece coverage with beautiful heads that always do great in the top white and light classes. In addition to proven EPD's, Apocalypse has had many Get of Sire wins frequently placing ahead of more well know names such as Barnabus and Elite Maximus.
By any measure he is an impressive and unique herdsire. His stats provide confidence that your breeding program will be able to compete among the top animals in the country. His offspring are always in the Ultra Royal Fine grade range as juveniles and yearling and remain in the Royal and sub 20 micron range well into their adult years. A great trait to establish in your herd or your next herdsire.
Congratulations to Jay and Melissa Reeder of Apple Mountain Alpacas, Clarksville, GA, for acquiring co-ownership in this game changing male. Apocalypse will now be available for Fall and Winter breedings in the SE!
