Description
Selene has multiple generations of quality on both sides. Her sire, Accoyo Augusto, is no longer available to outside breedings and is mostly bred to white. Her dam, Junie B (black), is the only non-grey offspring of two fawn parents with Accoyo Leon and Drambuie as her grandsire.
At a very young age Selene shows confidence, independence and presence that many alpacas never develop. This blue ribbon Accoyo Augusto daughter is very fine and has an excellent handle. Her first fleece has beautiful bundling and crimp.
Selene would be a great addition to an elite color breeding program. We consider this girl to be an "F4". She is the result of multiple generations of superb breedings. Her genetics are made up of Peruvian Drambuie, Accoyo Leon and Accoyo Augusto. A blockbuster genotype with a strong color background.
She delivered a stunning female cria sired by Royal Gold in 2008. It was hard to decide who to breed her to for the 2009 cria and chose Eclipse, to bring out her color background. Cant wait to see what she delivers next!
