Superb Producer
Spiceland's Saffron
Huacaya, Female, Proven | Medium Fawn
ARI# 845072, D.O.B. 11/1/2002, 3/4 Peruvian
Sire: Peruvian Altair ARI#
818555 White CHAMPION AND MULTIPLE SHOW WINNING PRODUCER! An Accoyo Don Juan son, Altair is out of parents who are both Peruvian imports. His strong stature, conformation, density and fleece characteristics have placed him as Reserve Champion 2x's by senior AOBA judges.
His crias are superb. He has sired multiple champion and blue ribbon offspring. They exhibit his density, bundling and coverage. Altair is curious and is very tolerant of human interaction. His crias also exhibit his easy to handle nature and strong presence.
Altair has thrown more color than white when bred to white. He has every color on the ground, including rose grey and has even thrown a bay black from a white female.
A lease, partnership or full sale would be considered for Altair. With 18 males born here in the last year, we are very short on male space.
Dam: MM Desire ARI#
818511 Light Brown Desire is a member of a very exclusive club in that there aren't many Accoyo Felix daughters around. It is also a plus that she is so dark and also 1/2 Accoyo. Desire breeds and conceives easily. She is well proven and an attentive mother.
Desire is a 1/2 Accoyo female sired by Accoyo Felix. She has consistently exceeded our expectations year after year. We have had the opportunity to see how her lineage has progressed and with her third generation offspring arriving they can truly be referred to as elite breeding stock. All her offspring and great-offspring that have been in the ring have been multiple blue ribbon and Champion winners. Her great/great offspring look even better.
Desire has produced fawn to rose grey offspring. Her 2011 cria is a rose grey female and is available in a very affordable package. Her price includes her 2012 cria at side.
Her 8 year old histogram was only 24.5; 4.7; 19% 9.1% curve = 38.2. Extremely fine and crimpy.
Desire is a consignment female but has been at our farm for almost her entire breeding career so we've seen firsthand what a great producer she can be. She may be older but she'll still produce the same quality! She could be a great opportunity for someone to get more than a 100% ROI with just one cria!
**This is a consignment sale**
Service Sire: 6P Royal Gold Imp98 ARI#
808058 Medium Fawn Due Date: 7/25/2012 Royal Gold passed in 2013 at about 17 yo. He was one of the nations finest imports. It was quite an eye opener in the 1990's when his first cria started testing at 14 and 15 micron. Many also sustained that fineness until well into adult years. He also produced many black and grey offspring even when bred to lighter colors. Antares is a solid black herdsire with a great disposition that we are still using today. He is among the top 10 Black herdsires in the EPD program for improving both fineness and fleece weight.
Consistent, Persistence, Fineness.... A product of the Antacalla/Allianza breeding program, Royal Gold was originally held as the importer's personal herdsire selection in the last Peruvian importation (1998). His reproducibility is undeniable! He has proven to improve density, fineness and crimp.
Royal Gold has sired numerous Champion, blue ribbon offspring that will always get comments from the judge remarking about their fineness and presence. He was capable of producing all colors, including black and grey.
One of his greatest gifts to his offspring was passing on his strong presence and attitude which is noticeable from birth.
Stargazer's Antares (black) and Royal Rumble are taking over his duties with a new defined purpose. We can now offer his genetics in a greater depth of color and fineness. Rumble has been 15 micron for two years in a row.
