Nice Foundation Female
WLK Oro Gold
Suri, Female, Proven | Medium Fawn
ARI# 31851299, D.O.B. 3/4/2010, Full Peruvian
Sire: LCA Accoyo Rico ARI#
1124569 LF Champion Fawn Full Accoyo Inca Son
LCA Rico is the only fawn full Accoyo Inca son to grace the U.S. suri herd. The most striking trait of this outstanding herdsire is LUSTER, LUSTER, LUSTER.
To go along with his blinding luster is a very fine, soft, and well locked apricot colored fleece. As a testament to his excellent conformation and exquisite fleece, Rico has won numerous blue ribbons and champion banners in the show ring and fleece shows, all while competing in the largest and most competitive alpaca shows ever held.
The three most important suri fleece traits that we select for are luster, fineness, and density. Rico has an abundance of all three. With over 13 years of breeding suris, we have very rarely produced a suri of this fineness, and never one coupled with Rico's density. It is our understanding that Rico has the one of the highest tested densities via skin biopsy for a suri ever tested by Jim Watts of Australia. His density is 59.3 folliciles per sq mm and his s/p ratio is a stunning 12.3 to 1, which is the best s/p ratio we have seen.
LCA Rico's full brother LCA Accoyo White Out and full sister LCA Accoyo Aspenglow are following in their older brother's footsteps, both having won color champion at the 2007 Fututity. Their dam Amore won first place "Produce of Dam" at the 2007 National Show.

Service Sire: Full Accoyo Sawyer ARI#
32141276 White Due Date: 4/21/2020 Both of his 2015 offspring have excellent fiber coverage, nice luster and a good amount of density.
UPDATE: Just had Dr. Norm Evans perform a skin biopsy on this beautiful male, and based on his density, S/P high bland presence and fineness he places in the top 1% of the suri males tested. The avg density for a suri male is 48 follicles.
Density score (63.75 follicles), S/P of 10.5 to 1, high gland presence (Level 4) and fineness (18.1 microns), Micron Variation of 11.8 microns
This young full Accoyo male is gorgeous! He hit the ground running in his show career by placing first in an incredibly competitive class at the 2011 Buckeye show; then by taking the reserve Championship over several exquisite older males. Judges raved about his consistency, luster, greasy handle, and heavy bone. He's out of National Grand Champion, Accoyo Kalvin (from the Jackpot line) and the maternal side of his pedigree is decorated with Accoyos Bruxo, and Ramilo. Sawyer at a young age (19 months old) has proven he knows what to do when it comes to the females. We are looking forward to his "official" breeding career starting 2013.
