Sire: Snowmass Peruvian Casanova ARI#
169027 Medium Rose Grey Our top herdsire, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova was the high seller at the 2002 Celebrity Futurity Auction where he sold for an amazing $147,000! He had a micron count of 18.3 at 3.5 years of age and his recent histogram was still under 25 microns at over 9 years of age! Casanova took home the prestigious Futurity Herdsire of the Year honors in 2003 for his outstanding offspring! Not only that, in 2005, the Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year was a Casanova son, Snowmass Nova, who sold in early 2006 for over $300,000! It's the first time ever that a sire and his progeny have won this prestigious award! With all the Champion progeny that he has produced, what would a Casanova offspring do to enhance your sales list? Limited outside breedings available in 2012. He will be standing stud in Chicago area from June until December.
Dam: Panam's Chilean Rose IMPD98 ARI# 805669 Dark Fawn
Service Sire: Patagonia's Celio_deleted_7/6/2024 11:38:12 PM ARI#
31691253 Light Brown Due Date: 10/15/2014 Celio is like a fine wine that gets better with age. He is an 8X CC/RC Champion as a yearling through to almost 3 years of age. We purchased 1/2 interest in Celio from Aleutian Eagle Alpacas, as we couldn't believe the quality of his fleece at nearly 3 when he won his 2013 AOBA Nationals Brown Color Championship. This beautiful multi-award winning Lennox son is the complete package, with a presence that will catch your eye, and fleece that will stun you with its fineness, density and character.
Celio's lineage embodies many of the great herdsires Alpaca's de la Patagonia have produced: Danko, Lennox, Shackleton, El Trauco, and El Padre. No surprise he has it all!
Description
Snowmass Sweet Dreams is one of the Grand Dams of the Grey alpaca world. She is a daughter of Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, one of the country’s top grey males, who won the 2003 Futurity Herdsire of the Year award, and later sold for $147,000. Sweet Dreams was one of Snowmass’ top Grey females, winning 2004 Grey Female Halter Champion at The Futurity, 2004 AWE Grey Female Halter Reserve Color Champion and 2005 Grey Female Fleece Reserve Color Champion at AOBA . Before Snowmass sold her at their 2007 auction for $44,000, she produced two of their top grey males Silver Signature and Royal Dreams.
Sweet Dreams has thrown a grey female out of Snowmass Royal Bronze and a black female when bred to Orlando Cloud’s fawn brother. Out of ten cria, she has produced seven Greys and three Blacks, proving her amazing ability to pass on phenomenal color genetics - even when bred to a brown or a fawn!
We are very proud to own Sweet Dreams, one of the most consistent and finest producers we have, but with our need to downsize, we reluctantly are offering her for sale. She is an older gal, but she continues to produce beautiful cria. For Sweet Dreams’ 2014 cria we’ve bred her to ATV Silver Elation. We think this is a spectacular combination as Silver Elation continues to produce champions and paired with Sweet Dreams, we expect a winner. Don’t miss out on this special female.
