Sire: 6P Royal Gold Imp98 ARI#
808058 Medium Fawn Royal Gold passed in 2013 at about 17 yo. He was one of the nations finest imports. It was quite an eye opener in the 1990's when his first cria started testing at 14 and 15 micron. Many also sustained that fineness until well into adult years. He also produced many black and grey offspring even when bred to lighter colors. Antares is a solid black herdsire with a great disposition that we are still using today. He is among the top 10 Black herdsires in the EPD program for improving both fineness and fleece weight.
Consistent, Persistence, Fineness.... A product of the Antacalla/Allianza breeding program, Royal Gold was originally held as the importer's personal herdsire selection in the last Peruvian importation (1998). His reproducibility is undeniable! He has proven to improve density, fineness and crimp.
Royal Gold has sired numerous Champion, blue ribbon offspring that will always get comments from the judge remarking about their fineness and presence. He was capable of producing all colors, including black and grey.
One of his greatest gifts to his offspring was passing on his strong presence and attitude which is noticeable from birth.
Stargazer's Antares (black) and Royal Rumble are taking over his duties with a new defined purpose. We can now offer his genetics in a greater depth of color and fineness. Rumble has been 15 micron for two years in a row.
Dam: Stargazer's Capella ARI#
821473 white White Color champion and multiple show winning female by Accoyo Grandmaster.
Capella has been a cornerstone of our breeding program delivering on a superior combination of fineness and density.
Description
Celine is a real good choice for a seedstock foundation female. She hits the mark in uniformity, definitely very fine and likely to stay that way and we expect her be one of the densest producing females in our herd. Celine and Apocalypse are very well matched and would be a great pairing I could see doing year after year and be tickled about the results.
Her dam, Capella, has always been one of our favorite females and best producing dams. This has been a very successful line for us. Just look at all the names in our herd that start with a C. They are very likely to be daughters or descendants of hers. Capella’s dam, CP Valerie, a Sollocatta import, was our first foray into what was considered elite whites back in the 1990’s. I was at an importers farm looking to buy suris when we happened to walk past a pen of huacayas that Valerie was in. All it took was one look from 30 feet away and I needed to know more. Of course everybody was pretty new and I didn’t know much other than this girl was spectacular. Back then, to get someone to sell something they didn’t want to sell, the buyer needed to make a stupid offer and then it was up to the seller to make a stupid decision. Well, made a stupid enough offer and even though we didn’t bring back any suris that trip it changed our goals and breeding program forever more. This a nice line of well bred females that goes back decades into established, high quality breeding program inPeru.
She's from a line of "lifetime fineness" producers and should continue to do the same. Her "stats" will meet the requirements of any breeding program that value fineness and density. Very proven dam and sire with many show winning offspring and elite fleece as well as some of the highest ranking and highest accuracies in the EPD program for over 5 years.Celine's sire, Royal Gold, is one of the nation’s finest imports. It was quite an eye opener in the late 1990's when his first cria started testing at 14 and 15 micron. Her dam, Capella, is a white color champion and multiple show winning female descending from the best of Accoyo and Allianza bloodlines. she has been a cornerstone of our breeding program consistently producing a superior combination of fineness and density. She is ready to be bred and a breeding to one of our top herdsires is included and will insure her cria will remain among the best in the US.
