RR Guns Ablazin's Brother!!!
RR Prodigio
Huacaya, Male, Unproven | Medium Fawn
ARI# 31620109, D.O.B. 10/8/2011, 7/8 Peruvian
Sire: Snowmass Midnight Sun ARI#
30820425 Light Fawn Sunny has been very effective as a herdsire in our breeding program. He has brought the fleece characteristics one would expect in a light fawn multi champion and he has consistantly put those charactistics into clors from fawn through black...producing banners in his offspring.
Sure he can produce at least 505 black when bred to black (he has exceeded that), but look at the fiber analytics on our webpage, in both micron and density...especially in black.
He not only has improved micron all the dams that he has been bred to but has consistantly produced densities over 50, even in balck and his offspring are all in the top percentages of all blacks sampled through Alpaca Consulting USA, Ian Watt and includes RR Belleza Nera, the densest female alpaca in ANY color that he has biopsied as of 9/17/13..a striking blue black female.
Sunny's density is not too shabby:
Follicle testing (Ian Watt)(6/30/09)
Follicle density:63.17/mm2
S/P 11.2:1
Dp:Ds ratio: 1.51
He is a utility breeder who will fit into any color breeding program and raise across herd statistics across the color spectrum.
We are trying to keep a relatively small herdire row and Sunny's genetics have been well represented in our herd, so he is also being offered for sale.
He's young and has a strong libido. He settled his first female at 17 months.
Dam: Aussie Hill's Destinee ARI#
30031368 Dark Fawn Destinee is one classy girl. She is beautifully proportioned, with a terrific top line and statuesque presence. Her fleece has a terrific handle and luster with uniformity through a blanket that extends well up her neck. There is excellent definition through her dense top knot.
She is what you would expect given that her sire is MFI Donovan (Ppperuvian Augusto x 5Peruvian Durazna). She is half sister to Imbroglio, who sold for 70K as at yearling at the futurity. through her outstanding dam MFI Candy Corn. All of Candy Corn's offspring have won color championships.
Her 2008 cria, RR Gun's Ablazin' is absolutely sensational. Follicle density testing through Ian Watts showed him to be the densest non white alpaca that he or Jim Watt have tested as of 12/10/10.
2009 brought RR Rose Harmony an incredible fawn female that we lost to sepsis at 8 months of age.
2010 was a banner year with RR Renaissance Rose who we think might just be the equal of her brother.
For 2011 we bred her to Snowmass Midnight Sun in order to diversify our herd gene pool. Not surprisingly RR Prodigio is evidence that the best dams make the best crias.
To further emphasize that point, we have bred her to our own Snowmass RRoyal Stars for 2012.
Description
This male is for real...This is one of those opportunites that really should not be ignored...This is the half brother of RR Guns Ablazin, the densest colored alpaca follicle biopsy tested to date (watt). He has the the fleece, density, crimp and conformation to be a herdsire, but we need to make room and have decided to sell him as a fiber producer.
Prodigio's dad is Snowmass Midnight Sun who likewise has an excellent show career, histograms and biopsy stats. Moreover, he has acquitted himself brilliantly as our middle reliever in covering our Guns n Roses daughters...no small feat.
It then comes as no surprise that this powerful youngster is conformationally correct and has outstanding fleece.
It's all there. His fleece has excellent length and brightness. He has a well defined crimp with staple organized into beautifully, organized "match stick" bundles of very fine fiber that is consistant from brisket to flank.
He will be required to be gelded
