ARI# 31620017, D.O.B. 7/8/2011, 7/8 Peruvian
Sire: Snowmass Midnight Sun ARI#
30820425 Light Fawn Sunny has been very effective as a herdsire in our breeding program. He has brought the fleece characteristics one would expect in a light fawn multi champion and he has consistantly put those charactistics into clors from fawn through black...producing banners in his offspring.
Sure he can produce at least 505 black when bred to black (he has exceeded that), but look at the fiber analytics on our webpage, in both micron and density...especially in black.
He not only has improved micron all the dams that he has been bred to but has consistantly produced densities over 50, even in balck and his offspring are all in the top percentages of all blacks sampled through Alpaca Consulting USA, Ian Watt and includes RR Belleza Nera, the densest female alpaca in ANY color that he has biopsied as of 9/17/13..a striking blue black female.
Sunny's density is not too shabby:
Follicle testing (Ian Watt)(6/30/09)
Follicle density:63.17/mm2
S/P 11.2:1
Dp:Ds ratio: 1.51
He is a utility breeder who will fit into any color breeding program and raise across herd statistics across the color spectrum.
We are trying to keep a relatively small herdire row and Sunny's genetics have been well represented in our herd, so he is also being offered for sale.
He's young and has a strong libido. He settled his first female at 17 months.
Dam: RR Rose Delilah ARI#
31332002 Medium Fawn Delilah brings Hemiaccoyo lines from both sides. It has turned out to be an excellent breeding combination, and Clementine, Delilah's mom keeps getting the job done.
Delilah is a beautifully proportioned, sturdy hembra, who has provided us with a stellar female cria for 2011. Is is conformationally flawless. She has a beautifully expressive fleece which is holding length, brightness and definition even as she matures as a breeder.
Her histograms are confirmation of her fiber excellence. What it doesn't illustrate is the extent of her prime fiber coverage over a very extensive blanket.
She was follicle density tested by Ian Watt in 2011 at age 33 months:
Density: 56.6/mm2
S/P ratio: 12.8:1
In-skin primary fiber diameter: 19.0 micron, S.D. 2.8
In-skin seconadry fiber diameter: 12.8 micron, S.D. 2.5
Comment: Excellent density well supported by low SD individual fiber population numbers and a well above average S:P ration.
These are numbers that a much better than most breeding males in this country. (KMR)

Service Sire: RR ADAGIO ARI#
32661910 True Black Adagio is taking on an important role in our program. He's a true black out of 2 greys and 1 of 2 Kit Carson's son that we are keeping on our herdsire row.
He is conformastionally strong with a very fine fleece that is beautifully structured and organized.
Mom's no slouch either.
She has dense, uniform fiber and the sustained fineness that made her sire Snowmass Drambuie's Braveheart a major contributor on Snowmass Alpacas stud row.
The pedigree is all there, as are the analytics. The boy is setting his sights to work his way into a grey breeding program. He just might be the guy for the astute breeder who stands on the side of grey x grey breeding being associated with "lethal grey".

Adagio was too young to show as a juvie and unfortunately had a tender fleece as a yearling but will show as a 2 year old with a superb handle and uniformity in a long well organized staple.
It's easily explained when looking at his follicle testing;
Follicle Biopsy:
Density: 58.2
S:P 11.6:1
In skin mean P: 26.8. SD 2.9
In skin mean S 22.1 SD 2.8
Are you kidding me? He not only has superior density, especially in black, but both his primary and secondary fiber populations have SD less than 3.0 and an incredible P-S differential of 3.3 microns!!
Description
Sienna is a beautifully conformed female from outstanding, proven genetics. Both her mother RR Rose Delilah and her father Snowmass Midnight Sun have been follicle biopsy tested by Ian Watt with outstanding results.
Results have come in from Siena's skin biopsy and are notable for incredible uniformity...the difference between the diameter between her primariy and secondary fibers is an incredibly low 2.9 micron...and that in a moderately dense fleece.
Skin follicle testing results (Ian Watt):
Density 48.4/mm2
Secondary:Primary ratio: 10.5:1
In-skin primary fibre diameter 23.5 SD 2.1
In-skin secondary fibre diameter 20.6 SD 2.6
Comments:
A moderately dense alpaca showing excellent uniformity in both fibre populations and a low fibre population differentila.
Sienna will be an outstanding foundation female for any breeding program!
We have bred her to RR Adagio, a black son out of RR Guns Kit Carson (grey) and Snowmass Braveheart's Charm (grey), to try to pull the grey genetics out of her. We think this will be an outstanding combination! She is being sold with her male cria at side RR Tesoro (Treasure DOB: 6/29/2014).
