Description

Where'd the black come from CC? Lady was named after the beautiful Doobie Brothers song and she is just that ... beautiful! Excellent confirmation and full coverage. A real sweetie too, comes up to give kisses and extremely pettable. Lady was a great ambassador in our garden at the Denver 2007 Home and Patio Show.

Miss Lady (ma'am) had an absolutely beautiful true black GIRL 5/24/08 ... named Magnolia Mae after several beautiful songs, Stars Over Alabama by Jimmy Buffett and Maggie May by Rod Stewart. Lady's sister gave birth to a little pinto girl three days prior and her owner named her Moonlight so ... we had to call her Magnolia.

Lady did it again, she gave birth to another beautiful true black GIRL 6/5/09. We named her Trueno Amanda de la Dama (Lady's Thundering Amanda) after Elizabeth's favorite song by the late great Waylon Jennings. She's as sweet as her mother with extremely fine fiber. Amanda "Mandy" sold in 2010.

Another girl! Lady and Conundrum gave us a beautiful WHITE girl 6/16/11. Tupelo Honey, our little honey bunny. Very dense fiber, perfect confirmation. And HUGE. Born at 22# 15oz! Honey was almost as big as the 2010 juveniles when she was born.

Lady, no matter what you do to her, she stays sweet and ready to be handled (even pregnant!).

We recently had Lady's fiber processed and ended up with some extremely soft shiny black yarn.

Ms. Lady, after loosing her mother has now become the herd's matriarch. Such a love.

Another beautiful true black GIRL, September 2016! She had her in the middle of the night so Elizabeth named her River of Dreams (Billy Joel) where the first line is In The Middle Of The Night. We call her Rio.
