830217 True Blck Full Peruvian - Snowmass Midnight Magic is the Elite fleeced black male of all time. He is the perfect example of a Black Incan Alpaca. He is the male whose fleece will create fine fashion garments that are as soft as the finest cashmere. This comes from his sire, Snowmass Matadors Magic, who is a true asset to vicuna fineness in a well advanced alpaca and his Dam, 5Peruvian Ajoyani, purchased for her own ultra fine black fleece. There is not an alpaca in Midnight Magic’s pedigree that is not on our Elite fleece list. He has produce a strong line of ultra fine black Incan alpacas surpassing expectations. His first set of cria are all black and black as coal. 6 girls and 4 boys so far; everyone like the perfect mold of himself. Many of the females he was bred to were out of Snowmass Nova, so he had a solid foundation to start with; the others are as exceptional. 850320 Dark Fawn Her sire, Legacy Gold, sold for $500K at the Snowmass 2006 auction. Small wonder. He is sire to the incomparable Snowmass Invincible.
Her dam is also dam to Snowmass Nova, Snowmass Drambuie's Braveheart and Snowmass Magic Midnight. Now there's a genetic power house.
Her 2007 cria, Snowmass Midnight Sun now stood on our herdsire row after winning multilpe championship banners and coming back with not only incredible histograms, but on of the very best follicle density skin biopsy performed by Ian Watt at alpaca consulting and a glowing review of his fiber breeding potential by Paul Vallely in Australia. Dreams didn't disappoint us in 2008, bring us RR Rose Encatada, out of our own Guns n Roses. She is the "cream of the crop" and is an outstanding brown female. Encatada has already taken her first championship banner at age 8 months.
She also has been one of our best producers and mom to RR Arturo, now on our herdsire row. He boasts an outstanding show record and some of the best analytics by histograms and skin biopsies that we have seen.
And that's not all...Anastasia...only produced 2 of the best we have manufactured; RR Mercutio and the incomparable RR Verona.
Small wonder that she is rebred to RR Gun's A'Blazin...we'd be happy with any that he has produced with Golden Dreams...but are hoping for a Legato Grigio sequal.
This is one dam that we wish that we could keep, but at our size we have to be satisfied that her genetics dominate our herd and she still has years of production to invigorate another program.
She is very special.
Description
Sunny has been very effective as a herdsire in our breeding program. He has brought the fleece characteristics one would expect in a light fawn multi champion and he has consistantly put those charactistics into clors from fawn through black...producing banners in his offspring.
Sure he can produce at least 505 black when bred to black (he has exceeded that), but look at the fiber analytics on our webpage, in both micron and density...especially in black.
He not only has improved micron all the dams that he has been bred to but has consistantly produced densities over 50, even in balck and his offspring are all in the top percentages of all blacks sampled through Alpaca Consulting USA, Ian Watt and includes RR Belleza Nera, the densest female alpaca in ANY color that he has biopsied as of 9/17/13..a striking blue black female.

We are trying to keep a relatively small herdire row and Sunny's genetics have been well represented in our herd, so he is also being offered for sale.
He's young and has a strong libido. He settled his first female at 17 months.
