He is the much decorated Medium Fawn son of Phoenicia, a full Peruvian, True Black, Camilio daughter who is also an AOBA National Black Color Champion. His Sire, Vic Junior, is the best-known full Peruvian son of Accoyo Victor, and grandson of Peruvian Hemingway. Phoenix is extremely dense with a bright fleece arranged in well-differentiated, long-stapled bundles. He’s a robust, vigorous, well-conformed herdsire with a long and successful show record. His annualized fleece weight for 2007 was 11.8 pounds and this 4th fleece still has amazing character and fineness. From her gorgeous typey head, to the tips of her heavily boned and fleeced toes this Patagonia Compadre daughter carries a rich black fleece that most alpacas only wish for. Her fleece exhibits high amplitude and medium frequency with a distinct curl to each crimp. Heaven Lee's fleece has an extremely soft hand, good density, great lock definition and is very bright. Heaven Lee has been one of our outstanding black production females giving us 4 impressive cria, 3 females and a male. Her first is our stunning Avatar daughter, then she gave us a blue ribbon-winner Giovanni son, then a daughter and this year another stunning daughter sired by our premier herdsire, Accoyo America Phoenix. We kept Heaven Lee open this fall to put her into a spring birth rotation. I’m not anxious to sell Heaven Lee as we like her offspring but we need to make room for our upcoming maidens and can’t increase our herd size any further. Our loss will be your gain!

He had congestive heart failure which was confirmed at Oregon State Vet School and we were treating him with medicines, but he had too much leakage in the valves in his heart. We are happy that we have 9 females pregnant to him this season and 10 females and 2 boys previsoulsy born on our farm. He was such an amazing herdsire and we will miss him dearly. Skyline Alpacas is extremely pleased to announce the arrival of our newest herdsire, Snowmass Enlightened. One can’t say enough about the quality of this male. I first saw his 2-year-old fleece (3rd fleece) at the CABA Classic fleece show in 2013 and couldn’t believe my eyes. The density, crimp, uniformity, and brightness were truly amazing. No wonder he got Color Champion! Never in my dreams did I think I someday would be the proud owner of this fine male!
