He's showing exemplary fineness & density, not to mention unbelievable fleece coverage! Just take a look at his perfect conformation and his full-fleeced head! The fleece goes all the way down to cover his toes!

Description
I am loving Rio Grande or RG as we call him (sounds like Archie). Long staple, Royal Baby fine and bright. His fleece coverage is extraordinary. Just look at the head coverage and leg coverage to the toes. Then check out conformation. Strong boned, straight and balanced, just like we like 'em. What an amazingly stunning young male cria this is!! I am as excited about this boy as I was about his Sire, Midnight Express, when we purchased him as a cria.
Rio Grande's Dam, Rio DeJainero, has the looks that stop you in your tracks and a fleece that measured 17mc as a yearling. Does RG have that too....Check Mark! Take a look at her picture to the right and then back to RG, he got mom's good looks. But don't take anything away from dad. Midnight Express carries the same bone, but in a more compact model than the dam and brinigs the crimp and density in spades here.
When breeders dream up their breeding combinations they hope the offspring gets the best of both parents. Rarely does it happen that everything lines up, but we got it here.
