Description
Ruby is a great foundation female. Ruby’s Chilean background bring a legacy of color, with 30 known ancestors only three show as white.
Ruby first breeding was to my my deeply white stud Snow Cloud to see if he could produce color. Much to my surprise Ruby had a medium brown cria. This cria is dense crimpy and oh so soft. This first cria, Rainier, has been entered in two Level III Halter shows. He took a second at AWE and a forth at California Classic. We repeated the breeding.
Ruby has proven herself an excellent mother. Her births have been unassisted. She provides plenty of milk for vigorous energy and growth from her crias. She keeps her eye on you while you interact with her crias, being attentive but not over protective.
