Lotta Luv's Silver Blaze
Huacaya, Female, Unproven | Medium Silver Grey
ARI# 30342101, D.O.B. 8/10/2007, Full Chilean
Sire: Canzelle's Zambezi ARI#
845807 True Black Zambezi is top, top drawer. He has very dense, crimpy fleece with extreme coverage from top knot to toe. His conformation is breathtaking: solid bone, beautiful topline, pleasing head, and regal carriage. True ("blue") black himself, Zambezi represents the third generation of all true black or grey genetics. Impeccable lineage, too--both a Danko and Sinopsis Nocturna grandson!
Zambezi made a big impression in the show ring, winning the Black Color Championship at two Level V shows--MAPACA (over more than 90 other black males) and the OABA Alpacafest--and seven blue ribbons.
Zambezi now has more than 56 crias on the ground--the quality is exceptional. For example, his first cria, Calidad Carnelian, took a blue ribbon at the Empire Extravaganza and Reserve Champion at the Green Mountain show. Three of his true black daughters took first, second, and third places in juvie classes of 15 alpacas at the North American Alpaca Show. His daughter Calidad Wicked Good took a 2nd place at the Futurity, and Calidad Black Sable took a 2nd place at the AOBA nationals.
Out of 19 black dams, he produced 18 black crias. Of the 56 crias registered to date, 32 are TRUE black, 4 are bay black, and 8 are grey. You would be hard pressed to find another true black of his quality and with his depth of true black genetics.
A full interest in Zambezi is for sale. In attempting to keep my breeding program small, I will be concentrating more on white and lighter colors. This is a fabulous opportunity for a breeder of quality true black alpacas!
Co-owned with Quarry Ridge Alpacas.

Description
Blaze is a gorgeous medium silver grey female sired by multi-champion true black herdsire Canzelle’s Zambezi, who is himself the grandson of renowned silver gray herdsire Danko! She is very friendly, and will run to greet you in the pasture – most often to see if you brought her a snack!
Blaze is just beginning her breeding career and is bred to a herdsire who needs no introduction – multi-champion, 2010 MAPACA Jubilee Herdsire of the Year, 588 Peruvian Lancaster! Lancaster's fleece is as consistent as his show winnings. With over 14 blue ribbons and 6 championships – including the coveted Fawn Male Color Championship at MAPACA and Get of Sire at Ohio AlpacaFest – Lancaster has been called, by more than one judge, "the total package." Lancaster has been passing his fine fleece qualities and strong conformation on to his offspring.
With Blaze’s stunning color and amazingly soft handle and Lancaster’s lustrous, consistent fleece character and style, we can hardly wait to see this cria!
****Congratulations to Royal Diamond Alpacas in California for their acquisition of this lovely young lady!
