ARI# 31754996, D.O.B. 6/19/2010, 7/8 Peruvian, 1/8 Chilean
Sire: 5C's Capital Punishment ARI#
30403147 True Black Capital Punishment is another winner from our Shanakee and the infamous Black Mesquite. This male's soft, dense, well-bundled fleece covers his body from head to toe. Actually, you can't see his toes!!! Bundle this fleece with his blue-ribbon conformation and Ffolks...we've got a winner. His fleece continues to hold it's fineness at age 4 (18.4 AFD) even after beginning his breeding career.
Wow are we excited!!!!!!! Capital's crias have hit the ground running!!!!!! They are all either black or brown from dams who range from black to beige. All are stunning!!!! All the crias have Capital's solid bone, and bright fine fleeces. Exciting indeed.
Okay, here's the report.......Cadia's fleece has an AFD of 15.7. Guess what.....it's dense too. Little C-Miley's fleece is in the top at 16.3. We believe Capital Punishment has earned himself some more breedings on this farm.
2012 Fiber Stats Show Capital Punishment's fineness is holding even tough he has done many breedings. At 6 years old his true black fiber stats are AFD 21.7 SD 4.4 CV 20.5 and >30 at 3.4 Not only is his fiber holding fineness, but his crias are in the top 10 (or low 10) of our herd.

Dam: Champagne Toast ARI#
1176278 Medium Fawn This little beauty is the daughter of our Burgundy (our 23-year-old, Chilean import who has produced numerous ribbon winners) Champagne has a soft, crimpy fleece that earned her many ribbons during her show career. Champagne has passed her beautiful fleece and solid bone structure to all of her crias.
Constantine, Champagne's first cria, won Best Brightness for his fleece and has been sold as a herdsire.
Champagne Toast's 2012 cria is the largest cria ever born on our farm. Her beautiful fawn male cria weighed in at 24.3 pounds and she never missed a beat!!!! This June cria sired by Accoyo America Kamikaze is not only big, his conformation is spot on and his fleece looks pretty promising. The fleece exhibits incredible staple length, great structure and shine, and amazing density. The plan is to keep Conquerer for our breeding program since Kamikaze is on loan and will be leaving soon.
We liked Conquerer so much we repeated the breeding. This 2013 cria is a beautiful medium brown female who we want to retain. We have decided to sell Champagne and she comes with a breeding. Kamikaze would be a great choice if you purchase Champagne before he departs.
Service Sire: 5C's Contender ARI#
32401738 True Black Due Date: 9/24/2017
Contender------the son of our Cereza Negra and our Cascade of Sparks was one of those crias that you just know is special. Cereza has never disappointed us with the quality of her offspring, and the trend has certainly continued. This beautiful black male has one of the most consistent fleeces I have ever seen. His fleece is the same even down his legs and onto his belly. Beautiful true black fleece that is fine, with brilliant shine, impressive staple length and consistent crimp across his body. His frame is solid and strong. All traits we seek in our herdsires.
This beautiful male is the first cria from our Cascade. This is proof that show wins are not the only thing to consider when choosing breedings. Cascade did well in the showring, despite a tender fleece. We knew he had the characteristics we wanted so we allowed him to prove he could pass those traits on. He has done just that and has earned the right to prove it again and again.
Contender entered his first show at the age of 7 months and was awarded a blue ribbon in a class of 11 black juvenile males. He continued the trend by taking the Res. Champion banner. We knew he was nice, but it is wonderful to have his attributes confirmed by a respected judge, Amanda Vandenbosch. Contender followed that with a 2nd place at the highly competitive MAPACA and a blue at PAOBA. The judge strongly considered Contender for a banner at PAOBA and raved about his potential during his remarks.
Fall 2013, Contender won the Blue in a very competitive class of 15 black males. Kevin O'Leary sent him forward immediately after evaluating Contender and only halfway through the class.
Contender WINS First and Reserve Champion in fleece at the 2014 AOA/World Fleece Show. He also placed 2nd in an extremely competitive halter class of 15. Many of the males in this class were multi-champion males themselves.
Another win for Contender. In a very competitive black class, Contender won blue
Description
Another beauty from Champagne Toast and Capital Punishment. This female's micron report proved that we were right about her fineness. Her 15.7 AFD with 0.4> 30 (2011) makes hers one of the finest colored fleeces on our farm. This is not a total surprise since her sire seems to pass that on to his crias and the dam is no slouch in the fineness department either. Cadia's yearling (2012 --16.5 AFD with 0.4>30) fiber stats haven't changed much at all.
Cadia's first cria is a beautiful brown female with the fineness and density of her mother and she has been sold.
Cierra (Cadia's 2016 cria sired by Captain Midnight) hit the ground running on June 4th. With beautiful bone and a promising fleece that possesses great density we are loving this little girl.
For her 2017 cria we have opted to use Contender, another black banner winner. This cria is due in September and we are quite excited about this combination.
