Analyse is a sister to our FG Butterfly and they look like twins. Easy going is an understatement when it comes to these girls. Halter trained, Trailers easy, Great disposition. Analyse is a great purchase for someone new to the industry.
Analyse's first cria did not disappoint us. LHSA Oriel was born 3/15/07 weighing 18.8 lbs. Her second cria, LHSA Dark of the Moon, is an award winning male out of Major Mac. Analyse has passed on her great disposition to both her cria and they are easy to handle.
A word about the health practices at Long Hollow Suri Alpacas… We take the health of our herd seriously.
• All alpacas are vaccinated annually, and bred females are vaccinated 30-60 days prior to birth of their cria.
• Fecal flotations are performed on EACH individual alpaca monthly and treatment is completed on a per alpaca basis.
• All alpacas receive monthly injections as a precaution against meningeal worm.
• Bred females receive a minimum of 1 ultrasound performed onsite by a veterinarian and our veterinary technician.
We interact daily with all our animals to ensure any medical needs are addressed as needed and this improves their socialization.
Description
His official name is LHSA Dark of the Moon, but we call him 'Zappa' !
Zappa has recently had his price reduced, if you are looking to add a dark brown Reserve Champion to your herd, he would be an excellent addition to any farm.
Zappa is loaded up with great genetics; he is out of our own Analyse - a Pperuvian Angel daughter and Sired by Major Mac - who is the spitting image of his sire, Macgyver (out of the Bruxo line). His fleece shines down to the skin and his locks are consistent across his body. Zappa scored an overall average of 4.63 out of 5 in the SHIP Program.
Zappa is a well-tempered male that is average in size of 150 lbs over the past year. He is well behaved with the 22 other male alpacas in his field. Zappa is friendly, halter trained and is easy to handle. He willingly steps onto the scale each month for his weigh in and herd health. He would be the perfect addition to any farm looking to breed for color, fiber, or even as a companion animal. Zappa has no major health issues over his life.
