ARI# 30387737, D.O.B. 10/5/2006, Full Peruvian
Sire: Crown Royales White Knight ARI#
841959 White * Crown Royale’s White Knight (a.k.a. “Lance”) is a phenomenal white full Peruvian, ½ Accoyo male.
* Possess a tremendous amount of density, bone, and luster, he is passing it on to his cria! In 2005, we had to shear Lance twice once in April and once in July. Scored 15 out of 15 on weight in the 2008 suri network fleece show with a 24 micron fleece at 6 years and 5 months with a blanket weight of 6.76 lbs.
* In 2007 his fleece grew at .42 mm/day.
* In 2008 his fleece grew at .40 mm/day.
* A superior fleece is considered anything in excess of .4 mm/day on a 2-3 year old.
* Fiber stats for 2004 at age 2years and 6 months are FD 19.6 SD 4.1 CV 20.9.
* Fiber stats for 2007 at age 5years and 5 months are FD 23.6 SD 4.9 CV 20.7.
* Fiber stats for 2008 at age 6years and 5 months are FD 24.5 SD 4.9 CV 20.1.
* Tested at 5 years and 5 months of age, he has 41.6 follicles per square mm with a 10.8 S/P ratio. Only 3.7 micron between the secondary and primary fibers. Ian Watts stated "You have hit the jackpot with this one! The way the primary follicles sit inside the histogram of the secondaries is closer to a merino sheep than anything I have seen anywhere in alpacas! Congratulations!!"
* Lance possesses the soft rolling skin and he is passing this trait along to his progeny.
* Lance has never finished worse than 4th and he showed in the largest shows in the country AOBA, Futurity, Mapaca, Ky Classic, Alpaca Fest, Suri network fleece.
* In Suri Network fleece show his fleece continues to beat fleece from animals almost 3 years younger.
* At the age of 5.5 he finished first at the 2007 Suri Network Fleece Show beating the 2006 Futurity, 2006 MAPACA, and 2007 AOBA champion.
*One of his cria has a skin biopsy density of 65.0 out of dam with a skin biopsy of 50.3.
*Cria = Crown Royales White Knight cria
cria = cria from another herdsire but same dam

Dam: Alpha ARI#
813046 White Alpha is a 1st generation US Alpaca, her sire 4peruvian Papacito and her dam 5peruvian Penelope were both imports, and WOW did they make a great girl!
Alpha is a great mother, and has taken fine care of all her cira. Recently she has given us two of our top herdsires, Yuma of Long Hollow and LHSA Lucas... both of whom are producing very high quality alpacas for our farm! And the even better news is that she tends to pass her great structure and fleece characteristics on while letting the sire pass his color through!
Description
Lucas passed away March 2023 of natural causes. He has been a beloved herdsire and one of LHSA first cria's. His presence will be missed among our herd.
LHSA Lucas is a gentle male like his sire Crown Royale's White Knight. Dense, and 18 microns! His dam is out of Papacito & Penelope. She is half sister to Admirals Commander. Lucas is at least 1/4 Accoyo & full Peruvian. On May 24, 2009 we sheared Lucas for the 3rd time. He sheared a prime blanket of 4-1/2 lbs with an additional 3/4lb of 2nds that look exactly like his prime blanket. LHSA continues to produce 3-4 pounds quality fiber each shearing. Luster, Lock, and Density. Perfect score!
Based on the Suri Network SHIP program, Lucas scored 4.77 out of a possible 5. Strong on lock, luster and a perfect 5 on confirmation categories.
Lucas was biopsied as a 6-year-old and his density is 50.5 per sq mm and s/p ratio is 10.5 to 1. He shows a level 4 of 4 glands present and only 10% of his secondary fibers show medulation. 100 secondary fibers average 17.8 micron, while 50 primary fibers average 32.1 with a spread of 14.3.
Lucas is in the top 15% EPDs.
How it Works
• Buy any alpaca from Long Hollow Suri Alpacas
• After every shearing, send the fleece to New Era Fiber
• Indicate that the animal was bought from Long Hollow Suri Alpacas – Advise us how you want the fleece processed
• We will process the fleece and send you back the product (yarn, roving, etc.)
We provide this benefit to ensure the economic viability of the animals we sell for their lifespan. This program allows our customers to earn money to care for and potentially make a profit on the alpacas we sell to you.
