Description

Mimic has renowned Snowmass genetics on her dam’s side and PPPeruvian Royal Fawn on her sire’s side. She is a product of a white to black breeding with many colors behind her (including many fawns and greys). She appears to be black and white, but fleece sorters have said she is a dark rose grey.

Mimic has super soft fleece, a wonderful temperament and is always ready for a nice snack or a good hosing off in the hot weather.

In June of 2012, Mimic had her first cria - a lovely white female sired by Flying Pony Alpacas LRG herdsire Relanpago. The healthy, bouncy baby weighed in at 16.75 lbs. and loved to run right from the get go! Mimic is a great mom and has plenty of milk - baby gained weight steadily.

For 2014 we bred Mimic to FPA Gold Ascension - an amazing Medium Fawn, Full Peruvian, Jeremiah son. Gold Ascension is a handsome male with creamy butterscotch-colored fleece that will WOW you with its density. He is an incredibly uniform male in color and crimp. In addition to having Jeremiah for a sire, he is backed by some well- known and proven genetics such as Dakotia, Bueno, Jericho, Don Julio, Black Mesquite, Matador and Augusto!

We were extremely excited about this pairing, and were not disappointed when Mimic delivered a healthy male cria who looks so much like her that we are calling him "Ditto!"
