Abby is an ideal gray alpaca: with the markings of a classic gray, sired by the great MRG, Premier's Absolute, mixed with a medium fawn dam to "fix" the fiber characteristics. Her 2009 cria was an outstanding silver gray male, destined to be a sire. Her births are uncomplicated, she has plenty of milk, excellent maternal instincts and a mellow personality. Her fleece retained fineness and character on a diet of 18% protein hay, when others her age jumped 3-6 points on the average fiber diameter.
