Nuance is an "Incredible Incan Black Male from a Royal Line of Elite Fibered Alpacas in Color" from the Snowmass breeding program. Incan Magic whose dam remains at an amazing 16 microns at 9 years of age is his grand dam. Nuance’s Dam, Incan Surprise, has exhibited the same fiber attributes. His sire, Nova, has been a multiple champion and is an excellent producer. Nuance’s pedigree of predicable fiber characteristics and award winning genetics are what we have been striving for in our breeding program for many years. We were proud to be able to breed him to a number of our award winning black and gray females in 2005.
His offspring are all we hoped for; strong and straight with considerable presence covered with the top quality black fleece we are working diligently to produce.

Dam: Skyline's Canelita ARI#
1224375 Light Fawn Canelita is one of our best, and our first Color Champion. Canelita’s dam is Legacy’s Jezibel whom we purchase from Crescent Moon at the Parade of Champions, and her Sire is Accoyo Elite. We are all aware what a powerful combination this cross is and Canelita didn’t disappoint us. Canelita has gone on to produce two awesome females for us: one out of Orlando Cloud, and another out of Nova’s Nuance. We expect many more outstanding cria from the impressive foundation female.
Description
Skyline’s Ricarda has genetics that just can’t be beat. The results… a fleece that has amazing handle and fineness. Her 2010 histogram had a 17.3 AFD and a 3.7 SD. This is no surprise when you look at her lineage. She has Legacy and Elite on her Dam’s side and Nova and Incan Magic on her Sire’s side. We expect she will maintain this fineness as her dam, our AWE Color Champion, and Blue Ribbon Futurity gal, Canelita, still has a 19.5 AFD at 4 years of age! Ricarda has correct conformation and nice head as well.
Ricarda is also an easy handling alpaca. She has a sweet, friendly disposition and makes a nice PR animal. But what we really love about Ricarda is her extremely fine, soft handled fleece.
Maiden Breeding:
If the purchase price is $4000 or more, you will receive a maiden breeding free of charge to any of our herdsires, including Donato, and Phoenix.
Included in the breeding is 60 days free board plus one ultrasound. These breedings are not transferable.
