Gorgeous herdsire, Ebony King, has been putting some excellent cria on the ground for both Rosehaven Alpacas and Celtic Criations. On our farm, offspring Roseberry is just lovely. She is out of a silver grey dam and Ebony King, sporting a rose/silver grey with a slight lavender tint to her fiber--just a lovely sight to see! He's got a nice topknot and good conformation. Oh, did we mention the beautiful fiber? We also have a nice cria (Golden "Matt" Matador) out of Grayson's Golden Princess. We had been trying to get a grey out of Princess for longer than we care to talk about, and finally Ebony has brought it out. Finally! It will be very interested to see how Matt does in the ring. His pictures still make him look beige/fawn, but after that first shearing there will be only silver grey. Ebony King is a True Black male with very high frequency crimp style and very dense. His fleece is so bright it looks wet. His sire is MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite, his Grandsires are 4Peruvian Matador 6030 adn CPeruvian LB Remington 0250. Lovely beige/light fawn female with wonderful carriage and a lovely disposition. A photo of her beautiful classic head is the logo for the NY Classic Halter Show. Princess has terrific cria and is a great mom. Just look below to see what we mean. Neptune, Aymaro Uno and Princess Leah are fine examples of what this dam produces. Lionheart and Prince of Rock are also a great pairing from her. She is the granddam of our Champion Funky White boy!!! Genetics rule!
