PANTHER's fleece is luxurious & TRUE BLACK at the skin. A certified sorter scored his fleece this year 2011. His secondaries were 1s (ultrafine) and 2s (superfine) and his secondaries scored at a 3 (fine). Not too shabby for a 7 y/o male who started breeding when he was just under 2 y/o and has always been pleasantly plump (no nutrition spared by this guy;) Due to a recent leg injury, Panther is not currently breeding.

Her fleece is consistent in micron across her blanket with her secondary’s being rated as a 2 (superfine = 20-22.9 microns) and her primaries rated as a 3 (fine = 23-25.9 microns). Brightness 7/10. She continues to produce lovely fiber that is processed into exquisite yarns!! At age 18 she still produces an abundance of fine fleece!! Maternal Instincts: Frenchy is an exceptional mother with plenty of milk and love for her cria. She has produced a beautiful black male, Double 8 Black Jacque who stands stud at a farm in VA, Double 8 Paris –a ribbon winning dark fawn female and Kissed@Midnight is a true black. The IgG for all cria have been greater than 2,000. They all have very fine and extremely bright fleece! We just sold her well fleeced and personable daughter Yulia's Juliet to Hardly Farm in NC. We anxiously await her replacement daughter (we are hoping) this May 2024. Due to her age, this will most likely be her last offspring even though she is in great health and body score.
