Astor - son of Makani and Andretti, grandson of Our Accoyo Pulitzer and Pucara Kahuna. Genetics genetics, genetics! What can we say about Astor? He is well-built, with great conformation. His fiber is beautifully fine and uniform. Great density, and luscious handle. His EPDs for 2022 are in the top 1% or 5% for nearly every trait. Great conformation, great fiber, and on top of it all, Astor is super friendly and easy to work with! We sheared Astor in 2017, and then he joined our show string. Wow. A genetic dream! Without exception, Pucara Puresuri Tikanui and Puddle's Dixie produce stellar results. They started with Zen in 2015... a fabulous multi-champion male who took Judges Choice at the 2017 MOPACA and Futurity shows. Then came Venus in 2016. Venus, also a multi-champion, who was awarded Supreme Champion at the 2018 National Show. Jupiter was born in 2017, and we are as thrilled with her as were with her full siblings. Jupiter has excellent coverage, beautiful fine locks, and outstanding conformation. To top it off, she has the same gentle nature as her sire and her siblings. Tikanui was not shown until he was a yearling, yet became a multi-champion. He has taken 13 first place awards in Get of Sire. He is consistently in the top 1% of EPDs. He has been Futurity Herdsire of the Year in 2015, 2017, and 2018. Dixie, also a multi-champion, has twice taken first place in Produce of Dam. At 13 years old Dixie remains in the top 10% EPDs for Standard Deviation and the top 1% for staple length and fleece weight.
