CCNF Reign Maker is one of two full siblings that we feel very fortunate to have here at CCNF. We originally fell in love with his dam, Futurity Judges’ Choice winner, TGF Let Freedom Ring, and his older sister, Let Freedom Reign, when we first saw them at Tripping Gnome Farm. Though we lost his dam in 2018, today his equally world-class sister and her amazing adult daughter, CCNF Majesty United (a multiple Champion and Judges' Choice winner), are both part of our foundation herd alongside Reignmaker. This superb son (paternally now) of 2-time Futurity Champion, Snowmass Conopa’s Kahuna, has shown from the time that he was born that he had the qualities to be a top-flight Herdsire. Where the show ring was concerned he *always* had the goods, but he quite frankly needed the competition’s fleece around him to coarsen up some so that the judges could fully grasp what it was they were seeing in him. Allow us to reveal a dirty little secret throughout alpacadom: most alpacas start out fine but they don’t all stay that way, at least not relatively speaking. The genetics in this Herdsire’s pedigree read like a virtual who’s-who of the North American alpaca herd. From 6P Accoyo Elite to the mighty Hemingway, with a dash of 4P Legacy, 5P Chaccu, Snowmass Royal Rose and PPeruvian Jesusa (both of whom we were privileged to have had here at CCNF), and the mighty Snowmass Quechua just to name a few. Look it up, seriously. It’s all come together to make one spectacular young male! Used primarily to cross with the Matrix Majesty and Elixir lines, Reignmaker had his first offspring born here into the CCNF herd in 2020, and the early returns are *very* impressive. Reignmaker is also available for outside stud service on a limited basis.
