Sire: Red Granites Bad Boy ARI#
32352823 White Red Granites Bad Boy is a very unique male, his special features just go on and on, his most recognizable trait is his incredible head style. His sire, Snowmass Premonition, also had this head style which comes from Snowmass Accoyocusani. Premonition comes from the very well known Snowmass Sub-Zero line creating the LOW CV & LOW SD vaules with incredible head types that we all want in our programs. One of Bad Boy's other exceptional traits is his low micron and CV vaules which are both staying under 20 for most of his current lifetime, this is what we are striving for on ELITE Herdsires. The best part about this is he can easily cover color considering his lineage, making this a perfect opportunity to improve our color-side of the herd and bring in all these vaules into them, creating some of the BEST colored animals we can offer with elite fiber statistics to back them up.
Snowmass Matrix Breckenridge, his dam, sits with an incomparable amount of WORLD-CLASSIC genetics. She is sired by the ever great -- Snowmass Matrix and by one of Snowmass Alpacas former best production females before releasing her at an annual auction who of which we own, Snowmass Cashmina a Snowmass XXXtreme daughter and Peruvian Hemingway granddaughter via dam. If you are not familiar with Cashmina try her daughter Snowmass Cashmina Gold the dam to: Snowmass Smokin (Former lead dark sire at Snowmass & Quechua Enterprises), Snowmass Kahuna Cashmina (2X Futurity Champion), or Snowmass Celestial XX the dam to Snowmass Divine Legacy XX. So, Matrix Breckenridge is lined up with PROVEN breeding success, and her line has created a few of the best colored animals Snowmass Alpacas has produced. So when we combined the Snowmass Sub-Zero line with Snowmass Matrix and Snowmass XXXtreme we got a LOW CV, LOW SD, HIGH CURV, INCREDIBLY BRIGHT AND FINE, future herdsire, and one of which who can improve both light and dark programs.

3/21/2022: Paris gave birth to a gorgeous little white boy!
Description
Red Granite's Pruet by Bad Boy we hope will have the same longevity of fineness that his father has, Bad Boy. You can look under the sire tab on this page to see the AFD measurements on Bad Boy over the past 8 years. Pruet's first 3 histograms look like he will continue with this long line of longevity. All three of Pruet's Histogram show an AFD is under 19 microns. That is longevity. Further Pruet will increase density, crip, handle and fineness.
All of Pruet's EPD rankings are more than desirable, insuring definitive offspring improvement in 7 of 8 fiber traits. Not just a little improvement but significant improvement. If you have white animals with a decent histogram picture, breeding to Pruet can give you your next fiber champion. Pruet's actually has improved rankings in staple length and fiber weight over his sire. So, you're getting all of the fineness genetics of his sire but more improvement in these other important fleece traits making Pruet the real deal.
Red Granite describes Pruet like this; "Standing on a strong and great frame alongside carrying a gorgeous bright crimp that has the BLING factor, he is a very exciting male to look at. Most importantly, his fleece remains very "fine" and retains extraordinary brightness, handle, and uniformity across his blanket. We would assume that all of those traits listed above would also be passed down to his offspring, after all that is what this exceptional sire line is known for doing…"
