Sire: DKN Dakini Fiery Cross by Wyuna ARI#
32753028 Light Brown Wow - just wow! This boy caught our eye at just 3 months old! We purchased one-half interest from Dakini Suri Alpacas and have been blessed with awesome offspring from this outstanding male. Now, we thank you, Michelle Alexander, for the opportunity to own this male outright!
Cross continued his winning ways in 2016 by taking Champion in every one of the 4 shows he was evaluated in and Judge's Choice at 2016 GWAS. We sheared him in 2015 and his re-growth was nothing short of spectacular - locks organized to the skin, outstanding luster, superior staple length, a wonderful silky hand and a solid,a regal stance that says....."Show me the girls!"
His melt-in-your-hand fleece makes dreams of soft silky fabric in a beautiful carmel color a reality. He's the total package and he's working in our herd. Below are comments made by our Certified Fiber Sorter on his fiber shear in 2021..at 7 years old! She says "Fabulous! Mostly grade 1!" From a 7 year old breeding male?? Get some of these genetics into YOUR herd.
Call to schedule your date with this outstanding herdsire. These genetics would be a nice addition to any suri breeding program.

Service Sire: Commandor's Defender of WAP ARI#
35139164 Light Fawn Due Date: 8/6/2024 Defender is a full brother to our multiple Judge’s Choice winning male, NorthStar, whose outside breedings are closed - you'll have to buy a female bred to him or....buy his full brother! We didn't think we'd sell this boy but here's your chance! Got a good crop of cria on the ground!! Very happy with his production so far.....
Defender has excellentconformation and all the positive traits we're breeding for in our suri herd. His show record is stellar (2 CC, 4 RC, 9 1sts and 3 2nds) in some of the largest shows in the country. He carries exceptional luster on a dense fleece with fineness and density rounding out his fleece traits. At 20 months of age, he sheared 12.6 lbs.!
Defender is showing exceptional retention of positive fiber characteristics and a solid frame - all pointing towards a brilliant future as a herdsire, following in the footsteps of his sire, Admiral's Commandor. That boy is sorely missed on our farm but it looks like his sons will carry that torch going forward.
Description
Jasmine is a favorite on the farm - pleasing personality and very handleable. She carries a dense fleece with a very slick handle and plenty of luster. While she is a smaller girl, she sheared 6 lbs. this year with a 3.8 lb. blanket. Given her histogram results, we're very impressed with this girl's fleece.
We chose to breed her to NorthStar, our Commandor son who has been showing the suri circuit how it's done! Not just in his show record, but in the show (and auction!!) records of his offspring. First year of offspring has been nothing short of incredible.
Jasmine delivered her NorthStar son on 6/13/23. He's an ABSOLUTE show stopper! If you want a young male to put your farm on the map check out this little guy. If he's still on the farm in the spring he'll be a headliner on our show string, hand's down. A repeat of this breeding isn't going to be this year as NorthStar is currently at our co-owner's in MT. However, we chose to breed her to NorthStar's full brother, Defender. His offspring are stunning and we're very happy to put him over a group of our girls this year. His production for our customers has been 100% home runs. This year we'll have the chance to see how he produces with our girls, given NorthStar isn't here.
