This boy is our "Game Changer" in our breeding program. If you were color blind his fleece could compete with even the nicest white. Very uniform in color with a hand to die for. And style? did you say style!!!
His staple has been an issue in management as his fleece is so long by show season that it is drapey. This male is here for the long haul in our breeding program and possibly touts the best gray genetics on the west coast.
He is perfect in his confirmation, his histogram touts excellent fineness and uniformity. His silver gray color is deep and rich. His phenotype is everything we are looking for. Dam: Assana ARI#
1423273 White Assana was one of the first alpacas born on our ranch and our best producers including several champions a AOBA National Reserve Champion. We have never considered offering her for sale but we are reducing our herd so now is the time. She is still producing robust cria with abundant milk and is always a nurturing dam. Birth weights of her last two cria, both females were 19.9 and 20.0 pounds respectively. We believe Assana has at least a couple more cria's in her.
We are offering Assana with her 2016 female cria at side. Her latest cria was born 6/5/16 and sired by our top herdsire OVA Kiernan of St. Andrews. This cria has excellent coverage, density and with very nice character to her bright white fleece at just a few weeks old. Assana might give you a couple more cria but this little gal could be in your breeding program for years to come.
Her female cria from last year, OVA Peruvian Nyla could also be included in a very special package.
Description
Canyon is only 4 months old but he is a part of our Spectacular September Sale. Of course he will need to stay on his mom until weaning. He is a lovely golden color with impeccable conformation and a great stance and presence. His dam is a producer of champions as his is sire. When we cria sheared him he had a very long staple and very bright crimpy fleece.
