Description

Callisto is the first offspring of two of our top animals: Jupiter, a Tikanui and Dixie daughter, and Astor, a son of Pines Edge Accoyo Andretti, (Our Accoyo Pulitzer) and Kahuna's Makani. Like his parents, Callisto is an excellent specimen of the Suri alpaca, with the hallmarks of luster, cool handle, and beautiful locking.

Callisto stands tall and proud, is easy to handle, and has fiber with superb luster and lock. He brings forth the best from both parents.and would make his ancestors proud. He was classified during our most recent SHIP classification, and received excellent review, with perfect scores in phenotype, lock structure, handle and more.

Callisto has had an enviable show career, racking up 14 blue ribbons plus a combined six championships, reserve championships, and judges choice awards. Like his sire, Callisto was awarded a judges choice award as a previously shorn animal.

Comments from judges have included: "very well built, great conformation, great luster, 'very proud', uniform fleece, great density, wonderful structure to fiber".
