When Legato Grigio sired our blacks crias he made great ones. Abby Lincoln is no exception. She has excellent proportions and balance, and a beautiful fleece. She is a very promising female whose maiden breeding has been chosen to be to RR Touchstone, a champion maker of outstanding black. He is a multi-champion in very competitive showing and has produced outstanding progeny. Touchstone carries a black allele and those crias produced are among the best blacks that we have produced. We were delighted to find that Abby snatched a copy of Touchstone's E (black) gene for Cordelia her impressive firstborn," Cordelia will be a good one...she is strong at the top and bottom of her pedigree, which go back several generations that we selected by superior analytics, both by histogram and skin density biopsies .
