Sire: 5C's Captain Midnight ARI#
32401714 True Black We knew Captain Midnight was special the minute he was born. We had no idea just HOW special. Captain currently has 18 banners in both halter and fleece. One of those banners is a coveted Judges Choice Fleece. At his very first show Captain was 1st and CC as the youngest entry in his yearling class. 5C's Captain Midnight won Champion and Res. Champion banners for his 2-year old and yearling fleeces at the 2015 AOA Fleece Conference!!!! These placements and that of his little brother Cardiac Arrest earned Cinco C's Alpacas the Classic Breeder's Cup at the Conference.
Captain Midnight is one of the Best of our Best. His dam, 5C's Chocotini is one of our highly coveted females. Her fleece is still amazing at 11 years old. She and LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight have shared their best attributes in producing this amazing male. We are extremely proud to have produced this male. His fleece exhibits extreme density, well-defined crimp and an incredible hand, characteristics usually found in only the lightest fleeces. You must get your hands on this fleece to believe it.
Captain's crias have arrived and they are stunning. At this time colors range from TB to LF and include classic grey. Call to schedule a visit to get your hands on them.
Captain Midnight is currently at Cinco C's Alpacas (6/20/2020). His offspring are truly beautiful. He adds amazing brightness, crimp and density to every cria we have seen. Contact us to schedule your breedings or consider one of his beautiful offspring for your breeding program.
5C's Captain Midnight is proudly co-owned with Joe and Barbara Crocco of Copper Star Alpaca Farm.
Dam: DG Peruvian Midnight Jazz ARI#
32654462 True Black I thank my "lucky stars" everyday when I look at Jazz. She is truly everything we are looking for in our breeding program. We are excited to add DG Peruvian Midnight Jazz to our breeding program. While searching for black females to use with our line-up of Champion black males, I spotted this beauty at a show last fall. Not only is she eye-catching, she was 2nd in a very competitive class of black females. After getting my hands on Jazz I was pretty sure she was what I was looking for. After looking at her ARI I knew she was perfect because she is not related to any of our males. Jazz is from the bloodlines of the likes of Legacy, Titan, Victor and Jaxon. Then came the hard part......convincing her owner to sell Jazz.
Midnight Jazz is a well-grown female with great bone structure. Her fleece is fine and consistent and has great staple length and density. We think her crimp style will be a great combination with several of our males. Thanks to Kate Giorgi for allowing us to add this beauty to our program.
Jazz first cria is an outstanding black female. The density and staple length on this cria are just what we hoped for. . For her second cria we chose Captain Midnight as the sire again. This time they produced a light fawn male. He's very fine and keeps improving as we watch. Since Captain was at our partner farm when Jazz was ready to be rebred, we decided on Chicago to sire her 2020 cria. This is an exciting combination for sure.*********And on 10/24 Jazz delivered a stunning female who looks like she will be DRG. This little cria is totally adorable and she and Jazz are a sight to see. We named her Crickit and she is stunning. We will retain her as a foundation female.
Jazz's first two crias have been sold and we have serious interest in the latest one at 2 weeks of age. Now for the difficult decision........who do we breed Jazz to next? Bred to Braxton for the 2nd time for her 2024 cria!!!
Jazz's color genotype is Ee a2a1 Let's keep our fingers crossed for a black cria.

Description
Crosby is the beautiful pairing of two Black National Champions. No he isn't black but he sure is beautiful. His fleece is consistent in color and micron and wow is it dense. Be sure to check his fiber stats. We plan to show him this fall unless he's sold. Then, of course, the new owner would have the privilege of showing him. We have his genetics covered here so he is for sale. Come visit and get your hands on Crosby. He will make a great addition to any colored breeding program.
Congratulations to Jeanne and Brad Lang of Thistle Creek Alpacas on their purchase of Captain Crosby. We can't wait to see what he produces for you.
