Cross continued his winning ways in 2016 by taking Champion in every one of the 4 shows he was evaluated in and Judge's Choice at 2016 GWAS. We sheared him in 2015 and his re-growth was nothing short of spectacular - locks organized to the skin, outstanding luster, superior staple length, a wonderful silky hand and a solid,a regal stance that says....."Show me the girls!"
His melt-in-your-hand fleece makes dreams of soft silky fabric in a beautiful carmel color a reality. He's the total package and he's working in our herd. Below are comments made by our Certified Fiber Sorter on his fiber shear in 2021..at 7 years old! She says "Fabulous! Mostly grade 1!" From a 7 year old breeding male?? Both of these stunning animals have passed on but we are very fortunate to have many of their genetics still on our farm.
Olivia garnered two Judge's Choice awards before she was 8 months old!! All the judges agree...this girl has IT! She has a greasy, lustrous fleece that continues to hold it's luster and fineness, even when she's pregnant. And, if you're looking for personality - sweet, sweet, sweet! Love this girl!
Olivia delivered a stunning male, Dark Star, out of DKN Dakini Icy Hot, a Midas' Black Ice son who is deceased. According to the judges, Icy Hot has "Exceptional fineness as a superior trait along with a high degree of wet luster. Locks are exceptionally soft and are the most consistent along with phenotype and conformational balance". These are all traits we look for when choosing breedings for our females. And, he didn't disappoint! Dark Star is exactly what we were hoping for when we sent Olivia out for this breeding. He is not included in her purchase.

On a show note......Temptation is a Judge's Choice winner.....Her dam, Olivia is a 2X Judge's Choice winner (as a JUVENILE!) ......Her sire, Fiery Cross, is a also a Judge's Choice winner!!
She was shown as a juvenile and placed 3rd at AOA Nationals and 1st and Color Champion at CABA Classic. Judge Wade Geise said the only thing he'd like to see more of was.....more just like HER!! She carries excellent conformation, a very fine, greasy feeling fleece, and a soft, nourished handle to her fleece.
Temptation delivered a gorgeous, light fawn female, Party Girl, on 9/3/22. She carries excellent luster on a very fine, greasy fleece. Temptation was bred to NorthStar for a 2023 cria and they certainly delivered all we had hoped for!! Desire is absolutely stunning....from her overall conformation to her luster, density, and silky hand. All qualities that NorthStar has been imparting to his offspring.
