One of those banners is a coveted Judges Choice Fleece. At his very first show Captain was 1st and CC as the youngest entry in his yearling class. 5C's Captain Midnight won Champion and Res. Champion banners for his 2-year old and yearling fleeces at the 2015 AOA Fleece Conference!!!! These placements and that of his little brother Cardiac Arrest earned Cinco C's Alpacas the Classic Breeder's Cup at the Conference.
Captain Midnight is one of the Best of our Best. His dam, 5C's Chocotini is one of our highly coveted females. Her fleece is still amazing at 12 years old. She and LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight have shared their best attributes in producing this amazing male. We are extremely proud to have produced this male. His fleece exhibits extreme density, well-defined crimp and an incredible hand, characteristics usually found in only the lightest fleeces. You must get your hands on this fleece to believe it.

***** 5C's Captain Booker (TB) and 5C's Captain Cognac (MB) are 2 of Captain Midnight's amazing sons. Both of these outstanding males won Color Championships at the 2021 AOA National Fleece Show. Captain Booker has been sold to Alpakas von Spiegel in Switzerland to stand stud for them. Captain Cognac will remain at Cinco C's Alpacas and has a very busy breeding season for 2022. We are very proud of what Captain Midnight has accomplished for us.

35401506 True Black Due Date: 7/16/2023 Our newest addition to a small TB herd co-owned with Lynn Edens. We acquired "Z" from Alpaca Palace as they were liquidating. He's a Zagato son who's lineage we just needed to have in our black herd. Z's conformation is spot on and his fleece is lovely too. He's a tall male with a pleasing head style and strong legs with good coverage. The fleece has all the characteristics we're looking for in terms of consistent micron, density and staple length. He arrived here in the fall and we only had a few females open to try him with. He does have two pregnancies confirmed and will be available for limited outside breedings in the spring.

Captivation is BLACK!!! Really BLACK!!! In spite of being orphaned early on, she is a big solid female with a beautiful fleece. Besides being very black, this fleece is long-stapled and very dense. The hand is amazing. We are hoping she can be as great in production as her both her parents.
Captivation's first cria and the first at our farm from Magavin..........a TB female!!!! Just what we had hoped for. This female has everything we expected from this pairing and the TB color is the icing on the cake. 5C's Chasing Dreams (Dreamy) is dense dense dense!!! She's got a beautiful head and nice heavy bone. She looks promising, but only time will tell. Dreamy is so exciting that we have repeated the breeding to Magavin. A definite "DO-OVER"
The 2021 cria is a dark brown male named Carson. Captivation's crias are amazing!
Recently confirmed bred to ZLM for a 2023 cria. This will be ZLM's first cria. Not really sure we should part with this one, but we can't keep them all.
