Talent's follicle density is an exceptional 71 follicles/SQ MM! According to Dr. Norm Evans: "Talent rates in the 3 or 4 most dense Suri males that I have evaluated and he is very uniform..."
Talent was the Judge's Choice winner at the 2015 Suri Network's All Suri Fleece Show. His fleece placed tops out of 209 entries and he did it with his second fleece with a score of 88.5! As noted by the judge: "Superior Fleece! So fine, dense, lustrous and highly aligned!"
Talent's skirted show fleece weight of 7.2 pounds annualized, earned a score of 15 out of 15 points at the 2015 All Suri Fleece Show and AOA Nationals. His total blanket and neck shear in 2015 was a whopping 8.7 pounds annualized. His 2016 fleece also won a blue ribbon at the Suri Network Fleece Show earning 15 out of 15 points for fleece weight, along with high marks for fineness and handle. In fact, fleece judges consistently comment on density, fineness, luster, lock style and uniformity. He is a fleece machine!
Talent’s has shown the ability to produce excellent whites and lights, and to pass color. He consistently produces fleece weight, staple length and uniformity in his offspring.
Talent's biopsy stats of 71 follicles/SQ MM, excellent fineness and extensive show record, combined with his all-star Full Accoyo pedigree, brings a lot to the table for any female. At 32 months of age, Hemsworth's SD is 4.98 and CV 19.72. He has a gentle temperment that would make him a good candidate for new alpaca owners. Like all offspring from his sire Eldora's Accoyo Talent by Rockster, Hemsworth is robust, healthy and loaded with fleece!
In the 2020 AOA Innovative Fleece Assessment, his annualized fleece growth was 7.5 inches! And this was one year's growth! He received 7 out 10 points for annualized fleece weight with a 4# show fleece. Note, his 2020 fleece was heavily skirted due to a shearing error, so that weight score could be even better! UPDATE: Hemsworth's total blanket weight at shearing in 2021 was 5.9# annualized and total fleece weight was 8.6# annualized!
