CCNF Magistrate was part of our first group of Snowmass Matrix Majesty crias that were born in 2012, and who together helped secure their famous sires’s reputation as one of the most prepotent Herdsires in North America! Amongst other things, Magistrate has been a steady member of the threesome that has represented his paternal line in the Get of Sire classes, including the winning trios at both this past spring's AOA National show and the 2014 Futurity. Though we are listing him here for sale for the first time, we will also be concurrently offering Magistrate for outside stud service. While Magistrate’s sire really needs no introduction at this point, his dam, SHRA Virtual’s Reality, though less well known obviously, is just as important to the full story. Reality joined our foundation herd over 12 years ago as a juvenile after we purchased her from Star Hill Ranch at the 2001 AOBA National Auction in Portland, OR. The daughter of Virtual Vicuña and PPPeruvian Acomani, Reality’s kids and grandkids (and even great-grandkids) have gone on to play pivotal roles in our breeding program ever since. Take for instance her daughter, CCNF Nutmeg of Consolation, who was one of our first Legacy Gold crias ever and to this day has won more ribbons (first in halter classes, later in fleece shows) than any single other animal in our farm’s history. That all being a slightly long-winded way of saying that Magistrate is absolutely the genuine article with deep genetic roots on both side of his pedigree. Yes, but what of the specimen himself? We are after all speaking about an alpaca that will theoretically go on to breed any number of females! Dark brown in color, Magistrate’s fleece is at once both dense and fine. All of that on a frame that is both very upright and correct.
