Commandor is truly an amazing alpaca with all the potential to be an elite herdsire! He has exceptional conformation with heavy bone and more coverage than he has skin! From birth, Commandor has shown such presence, as if to say "Look at me, here I am!". "Co'Man" possesses the soft rolling skin and that greasy handle that we've come to expect in a high quality suri fleece. AND, did we mention that he has luster to burn? Luster, luster luster!!! Exceptional lock structure with uniformity from head to toe, "Co-Man" passes this on to his offspring, hand's down. This boy is the total package to consider when choosing a herdsire for your female.
Co-Man is the son of Pival Accoyo AdmiralL by Accoyo Ace, two incredible herdsires. His Dam won 1st place in "Produce of Dam" at AOBA Nationals 2005. Penelope, a beautiful Peruvian-Alianza import, is the other half to this incredible FULL PERUVIAN, 1/2 ACCOYO, 1/2 ALIANZA herdsire.
Co-Man won his first Color Championship at MAPACA 2005 at only 6.5 months of age at the biggest alpaca show to date. So far, he has earned a total of Ten-1st places, Eight Color Championships and Two Reserve Championships. He finished his first show season with becoming Light Color Champion at the 2005 AOBA National. All of this under 19 months of age. He finished in 2006 show year, earning 10 Championships!
Our Commandor kids continue to have success in the showring! Sir OliverTwist and his full sister, Olivia, competed in the ring for the first ever competition for Supreme National Champion! Both of them have earned Judge's Choice twice at large shows! Defender is a full brother to our multiple Judge’s Choice winning male, NorthStar, whose outside breedings are closed - you'll have to buy a female bred to him or....buy his full brother! We didn't think we'd sell this boy but here's your chance! Got a good crop of cria on the ground!! Very happy with his production so far.....
Defender has excellentconformation and all the positive traits we're breeding for in our suri herd. His show record is stellar (2 CC, 4 RC, 9 1sts and 3 2nds) in some of the largest shows in the country. He carries exceptional luster on a dense fleece with fineness and density rounding out his fleece traits. At 20 months of age, he sheared 12.6 lbs.!
Defender is showing exceptional retention of positive fiber characteristics and a solid frame - all pointing towards a brilliant future as a herdsire, following in the footsteps of his sire, Admiral's Commandor. That boy is sorely missed on our farm but it looks like his sons will carry that torch going forward.
