30546677 Medium Brown Piper's black cria from last year,Night Moves,won a championship at the 09 Kentucky Classic and 3rd place at Nationals.
Followed that up with a striking Rico Suave fawn male.
We decided to rebreed Piper to the KING of Lingering fineness, Rico Suave. Rico posted a 16.5 micron at 8 yrs old! Imagine the cria out of this years pairing!
Piper is a Sweet girl in more ways than one. Her Super sweet personality is the first thing that sets her apart from the herd . But as you start looking through her fiber , She's got the SWEETEST FLEECE! Nice high frequency crimp, fine long staple and a great handle. Piper's fleece is VERY consistent throughout her blanket, extending down her legs and under her belly! She has perfect conformation with straight legs and compact build.

Piper did well in the showring, never finishing below 2nd Place and Always being singled out for the best fleece in her class, Her bloodlines are very unique, with a pronounced background of black. We look for Piper to throw a lot of black for us over the years.
This time around we took the opportunity to breed Piper to a visiting 8 year old herdsire that has a documented 17.1 micron at 8 years old. He is one of a kind and should add super fineness to Piper's already impressive fleece!
Piper has the second best brown fleece we've ever seen, with Peruvian Crystal having the best. This should make quite the brown breeding duo.

Wow,This boy comes from great bloodlines which are not too common in these parts. WOW Accoyo Elite(brightness/fineness) , Hemingway(fineness), (16 micron 8 year old Freak),Rico Suave, and Hercules(crimp).

Holy Cow, Old man Rico Suave's 9 year old histogram just ballooned to a 17.6AFD and 18 CV.........This boy is no doubt a Super Freak.
Rico Suave, himself, does not have many crias on the ground given his age, as he was a recluse on a suri farm for most of his life.
Rico Suave had a skin biospy test done by Norm Evans, which revealed a 16.5 micron and 69 follicle/sq.mm. This test was done when Rico was 8! At 9, Rico wins Judges Choice at the CABA fleece show, and also winning BEST BRIGHTNESS and BEST HAND awards.........yes, 9 years old!
Piper is no slouch herself, collecting a few important awards in her short show career, winning 2nd Place at 2006 Nationals and Buckeye, and winning a first place at Kentucky Classic. Piper's first cria, Night Moves, won a Kentucky Classic Championship at 9 months old.
As far as Hooligan, well, he was just born and looks terrific. He has great coverage, has amazing sheen, well defined crimp at 3 hours old, and is, of course, VERY fine. We think we have a winner
