She is the other half to this incredible FULL PERUVIAN, 1/2 ACCOYO, 1/2 ALIANZA Herdsire; an "ALA*COYO" "COMMANDOR" won his first Color Championship at MAPACA 2005 at only 6 & 1/2 months at the biggest alpaca show to date. So far, he has earned a total of Ten-1st places, Eight Color Championships and Two Reserve Championships. Finishing the first show season with becoming Light Color Champion at the 2005 AOBA National. All of this under 19 months of age. He finished in 2006 earning 10 Championships!

Sophia is that very special alpaca that we all hope to one day have in our own suri herd! She has an exceptional pedigree, exceptional quality, exceptional personality and produces EXCEPTIONAL cria, year after year! Her dam was considered to be one of the finest colored Peruvian female suris to enter the United States. A half-sister to both MacGyver, 3-time Herdsire of the Year at AAA Futurity and Peruvian Gracie (deceased), Sophia has proven her worth on OUR farm and remains one of our premier foundation females. Sophia's cria have all been 1st place ribbon winners in their classes, including her 2003 Captain Morgan daughter, Satin Doll, who at just a year of age garnered a Color Champion, 2 Reserve Color Champions and four 1st place finishes! Sophia has produced 5 crias out of 5 different sires and they have all been exceptional quality. Her 2007 cria, Sophia's Augustina, was named after her maternal granddam and, given HER quality, she's destined to carry on the award-winning tradition of her dam. Look for her in the showring and prepare to be impressed! Sophia was the 3rd and final cria birthed by her dam, Peruvian Augustina, who died following the birth (and loss) of her 4th cria. We had no idea WHAT we were doing when we purchased Sophia at 6 months of age, nor did we know what precious commodity we were acquiring.
