We knew that Arturo was going to be extraordinary as soon as his fleece was dry. His namesake, Ken's father (Arthur), would have been 100 years old the day Arturo was born. We also knew that dad, our own Snowmass RRoyal Stars was a "dilution" white, with fleece density in the top 1% of alpacas biopsied by Ian Watt, as was his mom RR Rose Encantada and waited with confident expectations until the results came in. Gun's A'Blazin' sure knows how to pack the fiber on his offspring. Firenze does a beautiful job of carrying it on a very strong frame. She should prove her weight in gold if she is the producer that her mom, and granddam proved to be in our herd. Breeding her to RR Arturo was a "no brainer"... That breeding produced a goprgeous, super dense, super fine stunner, RR Matisse.
