RR ISABELLA-amazing producer!
Huacaya, Female, Proven | Medium Brown
ARI# 31620055, D.O.B. 9/15/2011,
Sire: RR GUNS ABLAZIN' -15x banner winner ARI#
31332170 Dark Fawn Co-owned by Renaissance Ridge Alpacas and UINTA ALPACAS and residing in Utah right off of I-80 for easy transport access!
Gun's A'Blazin' did in fact come into our herd in a "blaze" and took us through an incredible ride as a youngster.
He was without question the best fleeced alpaca that we had seen in our herd. He went on to have a brilliant show career and start his breeding career at only 23 months of age.
He was biopsied and follicle tested by Ian Watt and as of July 2010, is the densest non white alpaca ever tested by or either through him or Jim Watt's lab in Australia, of any in the world.
Although we rely heavily on biopsies for density, we put equal importance on histograms and especially "hand and eye", none of which Blaze has disappointed us with.
More importantly, his production has been nothing less than outstanding having produced champions in grey, black, brown and fawn.
We have our own "in house" EPD system and unfortunately are unable to demonstrate the analytics on Blaze's offspring. All of the ones in our herd have been done to date (9/2015):
Have a look at the data on the his page on the Renaissance Ridge website...the remarkable thing in our breeding scheme is not only that he has consistently and dramatically improved fiber density over the dams, many of whose data can be linked to, but that density has been accompanied by an across the board improvement the differential in micron between primary and secondary fiber, and an excellent SD in each fiber population.
Likewise the progeny histograms support the improvement in fineness, and uniformity.
Blaze has been a powerful influence in our breeding program.

30007400 Medium Brown NEWSFLASH: Beautiful medium brown female (with white on face) born 5/22/15. More information coming soon......
Clementine is a solid prodution dam. She has tons of milk and takes good care of her cria.
Her recent male cria (born February 2014) is dark fawn, and was very "spunky" right from the start. He was a Blue Ribbon winner at Fall 2014 Gold Country Classic.
Offspring include:

We are thrilled by the production of RR Rose La Reina, Dizzy Gillespie's mom who produced the 2 densest females biopsied through Ian Watt, as of oct 2015.
The icing was on the cake with the coming of Dizzy Gillespie who has a superior phenotype in solid rose grey, with fleece "to die for". He is the 2017 AOA National Fleece blue ribbon grey, both rose and silver combined.
He also has excellent follicle density testing by skin biopsy:
Follicle density: 61.8/cm2
S/P ratio: 10.8:1
Mean primary follicle diameter (in skin): 26.8 SD 3.6
Mean secondary follicle diameter (in skin): 23.8 SD 3.3
Dizzy was breeding by his second birthday and his cria are outstanding and he is making gorgeous roans!
Description
Isabella is a RR Gun's A'Blazin' daughter who has analytics that are "outasight". Check out those serial histograms for consistent fineness. A micron under 22 at age 6 is impressive...a comfort factor of 96%, is ridiculous.
After 4 pregnancy, she still has only 4% of her fibers over 30 micron!
In terms of genetic predilection for fiber production, her skin biopsy, at 23 months, shows a set of numbers that we would love to see across the herd (reference to Alpaca Consulting USA, Ian Watt):
Follicle density: 61.8/cm2
Secondaries/Primaries: 13.8:1
In-skin mean primary diameter: 22.1 SD 2.3
In-skin mean secondary diameter: 19.3 SD 2.2
A very dense fleece, very high S/P but exceptional differential between secondary and primary fibers in the skin about to emerge of 2.8 mm...and remarkably low standard deviations in the individual fiber populations.
Bred to Dizzy Gillespie for 11/2/20 cria
We need room and she is priced to sell!
