Tuscan was chosen as the 2007/2008 breeding partner for multichampion females at such farms as Irish Meadows, The Alpaca Rosa & Pepper Pot Farms, including the one & only Misty Maiden, Dam of the Century, & several of her champion daughters. Tuscan is 3/4 Accoyo & full Peruvian. He is an Augusto grandson & Leon great grandson through his sire, & a Starr Khan grandson and Hemingway great grandson through his dam. With these great names in his pedigree, it is easy to see why he gathered multiple color championships. Tuscan descends from an award winning line that has produced multiple champion Tuscan siblings. In fact, all Tuscan full siblings are champions.
He is a confirmed herdsire with 25 crias on the ground as of 8/09, and amazingly 20 of these are females! They come in multiple colors, including 3 black females. Here at Bella Vita, we have females available for purchase who are bred to Tuscan.

This year another Tuscan black offspring, only a BOY this time! In 2008 Crystal gave birth to a TRUE BLACK female, named AROSA Dazzlyn! She has won 7 Championships ! This was a great way to follow up the previous year's 4X champion daughter, Laila who boasts a 17 micron at 3 years of age.
Crystal's genetics and showring dominance placed her as Co-Captain of The AlpacaRosa Fab5 Dream teamCrystal did not start her show career until she was 15 months old, winning 5 championships and 10 Blue Ribbons after the age of 15 months, rather amazing when you think about it!. Crystal is Simply the BEST brown huacaya fleeced girl we have ever seen. Her fleece rivals an "elite-fleeced" WHITE champion. When you are here visiting the farm, be sure to ask to see this girl. Her fleece is VERY dense with extrodinary bundling and a 19 micron and 17 CV!!!!!. Crystal has some very RARE genetics that you just cant buy in the United States. We know of only 2 full Peruvian Marcoyo females in the United States, they are both phenominal and we own them both!
We had much fun with Crystal in the showring, Now comes the fun with her offspring! We are excited about the breeding selection of our own Peruvian Landmark. This boy has simply impressed us from 3 weeks old, expressing incredible character along with 20 micron fleece as a 3 year old. He has extreme brightness, and a greasy feel to his fleece, and His head is awesome.

Holy Cow! his first offspring is ridiculously crimpy brown. I have one of my own due any day and cant wait!.... well the jury is in, JUDGES LOVED Tuscan Blacks offspring! Very stunning indeed. We heard best fleece in the class all show season long. Cant wait until fall of 2013 when the next batch are due!
