Altair's Trinity
Huacaya, Female, Proven | Dark Brown
ARI# 30830622, D.O.B. 4/8/2007,
Sire: CL9 Altair ARI#
805163 Medium Fawn Altair is a medium fawn full Peruvian male out of Peruvian Aladdin. He is a multi blue ribbon winning male. Many of his offspring have also graced the show ring further proving his worth. He has a commanding presence at all times, his gorgeous fleece is awe-inspiring, and he has a beautiful head and a great temperament. In January 2008 Dr. Norm Evans conducted a skin and fiber evaluation on Altair, his comments follow: “Cl9 Altair shows a density of 53.75 follicles SQ MM of skin and a S/P of 11.25 follicles SQ MM of skin. These stats are certainly above average. The 40X view shows nice symmetrical cluster structure. All views shows about 50% secondary fiber medullation. Most alpacas of his age show 100% fiber medullation. The average of 100 secondary fibers measured 24.1 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 36.4 microns. The average difference in secondary and primary fibers is 12.3 microns. At this age, we would expect the primary fibers to be a coarse. This males is very much above average and at this age 24.1 micron secondary fibers is very impressive”
Dam: Misty Ridge The Rebel's Asplend ARI#
1234718 True Black The Rebel’s Asplend, is a true black female, who was the highest selling dark Huacaya female at the 2006 Futurity Show & Sale going for $63,000. Asplend's dam, Ma La Bonita, is the daughter of PPPeruvian Kenamori Gold and PPeruvian Carmella and who's sire is The Rebel, a silver gray herdsire, who sold as a yearling for a whopping $96,000 dollars, setting a record for highest selling Jr. Grey herd sire in alpaca auction history.
Asplend, a striking, true black beauty is a proven producer of superior cria- her first two crias are females, Trinity and Splendor. These two females exhibit beautiful fleece color and style and superb conformation, and their fiber is consistant and crimpy. Her own fiber, coal black in color, is among the softest among our black herd.
Description
Trinity is a unique combination of Elite bloodlines as she counts among her ancestors PPPeruvian Kenamori Gold, Ross and Peruvian Aladdin who have had an enduring effect in a multitude of breeding programs, both East and West. Striking conformation, sumptuous fiber and a pleasing demeanor is why we added Trinity to our breeding program. Trinity's dam, The Rebel’s Asplend, is a true black female who was the highest selling dark Huacaya female at the 2006 Futurity Show & Sale. Trinity's sire is CL9 Altair, a medium fawn full Peruvian male out of Peruvian Aladdin. Altair is a multi blue ribbon winner who has produced many Grand Champion offspring.
Trinity gave us a gorgeous dark fawn cria in 2010 by Snowmass Invincible. Invincibella has exquisite fiber which is crimpy and dense. In 2011 Trinity thrilled us again with a True Black beauty who has been cleaning up at the shows- in just 6 shows she has taken 8 blue ribbons and 4 color championships, winning in both halter and the fleece category!
Trinity's 3rd cria is by our Champion Full Accoyo herdsire, Mary's Accoyo Barbary. Whimsy's Barbary of Seville!
Trinity had a wonderful male - that we have called Lord Tyrion. couldn't help it - yes we are huge Game of Thrones fans!!! He will be out in the shows this spring - but knowing her offspring - they are always better as yearlings!!
Trinity had a beautiful fawn girl out of our Diablo. We look forward to getting her in the ring in 2020
