Tikanui, sired by the one and only Pucara Kahuna, has simply stunning fiber - white, lustrous, dense, with outstanding lock structure. And fine! At first shearing...20.9 micron!! Tikanui exemplifies the Suri phenotype. Indeed, Tikanui was even bestowed the special "best head" award by Don Julio Barreda's daughter Elena at the 2012 Futurity Show! He went on to win Reserve Color Champion at the 2012 Futurity. And, at over two years of age and 10 months of fleece growth since shearing, Tikanui won Color Champion at The 2013 Futurity, competing against other first rate, full-fleeced whites. His progeny have represented him in Get of Sire competitions and consistently strong representatives of their sire. Tikanui is consistently in the top 1% of EPDs. He was classified during out 2017 SHIP classification and received top scores for conformation traits, and amazingly high scores for all fleece characteristics. Not only is Tikanui spectacular to look at, he is a gentle guy, always easy to work with and a joy to be around! His progeny are doing fabulous things in the show ring and with their own offspring. Tikanui was the 2015 and 2017 Futurity Light Herdsire of the Year, and is the 2018 Herdsire of the Year. Tikanui's Zen of Harmony won Judge's Choice at the 2017 MOPACA show and at the 2017 Futurity and his daughter Venus won Supreme Light Championship at the 2018 National Show. Emilia is a granddaughter of BOTH Macgyver AND Kahuna who boasts not one, but TWO Herdsires of the year as her grandsires. Out of the Pucara breeding program, she is a daughter of LCA Huckleberry de Latah, the 2012 DARK FUTURITY HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR! Her royal lineage is obvious through her offspring, where she consistently throws solid light or white cria with fine, lusterous fleece. Emilia had a stunning 2014 female cria (Karma) out of Kahuna son Pucara Puresuri Tikanui. Tikanui was a 20.9 micron at first shearing and won Color Champion at The Futurity as a SHORN male, competing against other first rate, full-fleeced whites. Tikanui went on to win the 2015 Light Herdsire of the Year and is proven with high-quality show winning offspring. Emila had a 2015 male cria out of Pucara Hanapepe (Kahuna son) who appears very dense and sports amazing luster and lock structure. Emilia is currently bred to another Kahuna son, Pucara PureSuri Kahuna's Lexus. We expect great things out of this power breeding for 2016.

Astor - son of Makani and Andretti, grandson of Our Accoyo Pulitzer and Pucara Kahuna. Genetics genetics, genetics! What can we say about Astor? He is well-built, with great conformation. His fiber is beautifully fine and uniform. Great density, and luscious handle. His EPDs for 2022 are in the top 1% or 5% for nearly every trait. Great conformation, great fiber, and on top of it all, Astor is super friendly and easy to work with! We sheared Astor in 2017, and then he joined our show string.
