Sire: JAX N VIO Accoyo Somethin Else ARI#
31553407 White Somethin Else is just what his name implies! A product of an outstanding pairing of multi-champion and 5X Get of Sire winner, Accoyo Somethin's Up, and multi-champion (including AOBA and The Futurity), Accoyo Karrie, he is a genetic powerhouse that is stacked with the likes of Ramilo, Jackpot, and Torbio. The lock definition on his regrowth is almost unbelievable. Add luster and density into the equation, along with a calm disposition, and you have a male that is sure to improve your herd.
He has had limited exposure in the show ring, but has done well, receiving positive comments on his fineness, density, regrowth, and bone.
2013 biopsy stats (Alpaca Consulting USA):
48.4 follicles / sq. mm
9.7 : 1 secondary : primary ratio
SD primaries = 4.0
SD secondaries = 3.4
primary : secondary fiber population differential = 3.1 micron
Ian Watt commented "very close fiber population differential...primary SD not hugely different from secondary SD, which is a highly sought after characteristic not common in a lot of Suri males used as herdsires."
EXCELLENT E.P.D. stats...contact us for details.
Drive-by and multi-breeding discounts
Somethin Else is co-owned with Portage Valley Suri Alpaca Farm in Ohio. The two partner farms have decided that it is time for another farm to benefit from the traits that he is passing on to his cria, and have decided to offer for sale full ownership of Somehin Else.
Dam: WTR Esperanza ARI#
30685390 Beige "Espy" has a good-sized frame and great fleece. She is conformationally sound and an excellent mother, birthing easily with good milk and very attentive and nurturing. She is out of Ameripaca's Taylor, who is known for adding outstanding (dare I say supurb) fleece attributes to his offspring.
Espy is easily one of the best producing females on the ranch, both in terms of show quality offspring, and flat-out gorgeous foundation stock. We are offering her for sale simply because we have been blessed with two outstanding daughters from her, and she is a great asset to the industry.
Espy's 2012 cria was a beautiful white female with exceptional luster, lock and outstanding fineness (18.6 micron in 2013 and 16.8 micron in '14) and density (3.2 lb blanket at 10 months old), her 2013 cria is a carbon copy (16.7 micron in 2014). Espy has proven that she has what it takes to improve your herd.
Update Fall 2014: Espy has done it again! Her 2014 cria out of our sire, Somethin' Else, may be her best cria born here. "Cooter" continues to look better everyday and has all the makings of a future herdsire...great luster and fineness, beautiful locking, and slick, soft hand. Watch for him in 2015!
A complimentary rebreeding to any Whistling Pines herdsire is included in purchase. We recommend a repeat to Somethin' Else.
