Sire: Accoyo America Lonestar ARI#
31747479 White Lonestar's buttery, 14.0 micron, amazingly consistent, dense fleece with those tiny tiny bundles is what lead us to choose him as a herdsire. When we noticed his black eyeliner, dark skin (look inside his ears) and black toenails, we thought we should try him with some of our colored females. Wonderful phenotype and calm demeanor just complete this beautiful package.
Well the first cria has arrived and he's exciting a white who's extremely fine fleece has the structure we were looking for. We have bred him to some colored females with the hope of infusing his fleece characteristics into our colored breeding program. Well it looks as if Lonestar is allowing the color of the dam. We bred one of our fawn girls to Lonestar and the cria is indeed fawn. The other exciting thing about this cria is that he has a very long staple with beautiful structure. We hope to get him into the showring this spring.
Co-owned with Red Ghost Alpacas.
Dam: 5C's Chiffawn ARI#
32592771 Medium Fawn Chiffawn is a beautiful medium fawn female from two rose grey champions. With the well-known grey bloodlines of Silvio and Danko she SHOULD be grey. Her fleece has the most incredible staple length and brightness. The fineness and structure in this fleece are remarkable as well. Her solid conformation just completes this beautiful package.
OH MY!!! I love this girl more and more all the time. On September 9th Chiffawn delivered another beautiful cria sired by the multi-champion Greytness. This little solid male is dense and oh so crimpy. We have named him Chieftain, just look at the presence on this boy. Chief will, most likely be part of our fall showstring. We offer Chiffawn with a breeding to any of our males. We would choose Chicago or perhaps Carrington, but don't pass up Columbo as a possibility. When you purchase her the choice is yours.
Watch for Chieftan under his own listing or call for his price.
Description
This young male is the result of pairing our white Lonestar (Caligula and Hemingway) with our Chiffawn (fawn from grey Danko and Silvio lines) Since their fleece styles were a great compliment we decided to give this cross a try. Cheap Trick is a solid male with great bone and a nice broad chest. Just the sort of frame we look for on our herdsires. He not only has a great frame but the fleece is impressive too. Density, fineness (AFD 16.33 SD 3.94 CV 24.11 CF100.0) and architecture is what we expect from Lonestar. Combine those with Chiffawn's incredible staple length, bundling and fineness and I think we're on to something here. Now for the color.....Chiffawn is fawn from two rose greys with strong grey backgrounds. Lonestar has nothing but white in his past, but we had an inkling that he could produce color. Cheap Trick is light fawn with a white blaze on his forehead.
