Born on July 4, 2009, Beethoven's Dorian will grab your attention like a fireworks show. He is a handsomely balanced light brown male with excellent fleece characteristics and an impressive show record. Dorian has conquered all to bring home not ONE, or TWO, but THREE Judge's choice awards, his most recent being at the Empire Extravaganza 2011!
Dorian has also won 11 Color Championships along with Futurity Reserve Championship.
Dorian is sired by none other than NM Beethoven, a phenomenal herdsire and 12X CHAMP. Dorian's dam is AEA Delaney, a Snowmass Cangalli Gold Daughter who is also no stranger to the show ring.

31700900 Dark Fawn Lilah is the second of three daughters (the other two being Futurity Champion Johanna, and their baby sister, Maria) of the legendary CCNF foundation female, Magdalena, that have joined their dam here in the Cas-Cad-Nac foundation herd. Lilah's first daughter, CCNF Lycia, is on her way to join the herd of Alpacajoy of Norway, her latest, CCNF Delia, is a Kahuna daughter we are keeping here in our herd!

35238706 Dark Fawn Due Date: 6/5/2018 If we do our job right, every year there always is a core group of crias born into our herd that we know fairly quickly are *very* special. CCNF Dreadnought was part of that special clique within the 2015 birth class here at Cas-Cad-Nac and was one of the first -- but by no means the last -- alpaca born here to show just what a potent cocktail the genetics of CCNF Elixir and Snowmass Matrix Majesty could combine to make. Certain lines just work well together and Elix and Majesty have basically been having an epic genetic bromance ever since.
On his sire's side, Dreadnought brings in the genetics of the mighty CCNF Archangel, our our old foundation female 5Peruvian Cangalli (now deceased), and of course the inimitable Snowmass Elite Legend, who once upon a time also laid his head here at CCNF.
Dreadnought's dam, CCNF Prima Majesty though obviously a daughter of you-know-who, is maternally out of our now aging SuperNova daughter and former AOBA National Champion, CCNF Bellarina, whose mother in turn was our old rock star dam, PPPeruvian Pachelbel. So on paper and pedigree alone, Dreadnought is really easy to get excited about. Then you look at the package: dense and fine, with a highly organized fleece that just shines. He is in short everything we were looking and hoping for when we bred his parents together. As it turns out, we were even happy that he was born with testicles as well!
Fresh off of his final jaunt around an actual show ring where he was the RC Fawn Male at the 2018 Futurity, Dreadnought is now a proven Herdsire. If early returns are any predictor of things to come, we are nothing but bullish about what the future holds for this exciting Herdsire!

Meet the goose that lays the golden eggs. Dorianna comes from the same closely held maternal line that produced CCNF Legionnaire, our Champion fawn Herdsire that headlined the 2014 Breeders Edge sale in Virginia and went on to win (amongst others) Championships at both the 2015 Great Western Alpaca Show (where he was also the JC male) and the 2015 Futurity for his new owners! Dorianna’s dam, Lilah, our Champion and Judges’ Choice female, is the second daughter ever born to all-world foundation female, CCNF Magdalena, and is paternally the daughter of Snowmass Royal Challanger. Dorianna's younger maternal sister, CCNF Delilah, has been tearing it up on the show circuit for us since April of 2016 and was again a key player for us this year, including winning the Reserve Light Female Championship at the 2017 AOA National Fleece Show.
Dorianna’s sire is of course Beethoven’s Dorian, who has won multiple Championships and Judges’s Choice awards in his own right and really needs no introduction. The short version is that this young female's genetics are stacked!
Dorianna gave birth last June to an absolutely gorgeous little girl sired by 2-time Futurity Herdsire of the Year, Snowmass Matrix Majesty. Easily one of the top 5 crias born here in 2017, CCNF Lyanna, is the full sister to Dorianna's 2016 daughter, CCNF Heidrun, who as a member of our 2017 show string won blue ribbons at all five halter shows we attended, the NAAS, Northeast Alpaca Expo, the Futurity, Empire Extravaganza, and the NEAOBA fall show (she was actually Best Bred & Owned Female as well at those last 2). Lyanna will in all likelihood be seen at the spring 2018 shows as she is a virtual lock to make our show team.
Dorianna is now bred back to our newly minted AOA National Fleece Champion (Fawn), CCNF Dreadnought (UPDATE: also the RC Fawn Male at the 2018 Futurity!), who is an exciting Elixir/Majesty/Pachelbel/SuperNova hybrid. Given the track record of these lines working together (remember that older sister Delilah is an Elixir daughter), we have very high expectations of what this excellent female and our our top 2017 rookie Herdsire can do. Dorianna will of course well with a live birth guarantee on that next pregnancy.
UPDATE: CCNF Lyanna was the fawn female Champion at both the 2018 Northeast Alpaca Expo AND the 2018 Futurity! She was also the Judges' Choice Female at the NAE!
