War Valley's Pixie Chick is a spinner's dream, with Top 1% EPD's for Spin Fineness. The mill spun yarn made from her fleece is yummy soft and my best selling yarn. Pixie's fleece ranks in the Top 5% for AFD, SD and %>30, just missing the 1% mark on several measures! She has 2 Judge's Choice awards, 2 High Scoring in Color Group awards, and 7 Blue Ribbons from competitive spin-offs. She is also available as part of a female package deal.
In 2016, Pixie's third fleece won Judge's Choice, Highest Scoring in Color Group and a 1st Place ribbon at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show Spin-off with the judge commenting "stunning"! At the 2016 AOA National Fleece Show spin-off the Judge wrote: "This fleece glows! Glorious yarn! It has an inner glow that catches the eye and very soft, silk-like feel. Wonderful drape also!"
This 2X Judge's Choice Spin-off winner is the daughter of 9X Champion Sierra Bonita’s Maccoyo Monet and the great-grand-daughter of Peruvian Accoyo Gold.
