Sire: Skyline's Francisco ARI#
31613408 Medium Silver Grey Skyline’s Francisco is one of our special grey herdsires. He has an amazing Med. Silver Grey fleece that is both fine and dense – we just love his handle. No surprise given his genetics. His Sire is Snowmass Nova’s Nuance who comes from the Nova, Casanova and Bueno line as well as the Incan Magic Line. His Dam is HDF Francy who is a Med. Silver Grey out of PPeruvian Felix. Really, this is quite an impressive line-up.
Francisco has produced a number of special cria for us –his latest is a gorgeous fawn girl out of a fawn. Francisco tends to throw the color of the Dam and his cria have inherited his fine soft fleece. We are putting Francisco on our sales list, as we need to downsize both our female and our male alpacas. We will be sad to see him go as he has a gentle personality and a beautiful fleece. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase.
Dam: Skyline's Jasmina ARI#
31613453 Light Fawn Skyline’s Jasmina is another one of our outstanding Skyline Accoyo DiMaggio crias born in 2010. We were lucky to get two females bred to DiMaggio before his untimely passing. Jasmina’s Dam is our True Black Rayo del Sol daughter, Jasmine, that has proven to be one of our top producers on the farm, siring Skyline’s Jedi Master and Skyline’s Comet (now owned by Alpacas of Tualatin Valley), to name a few.
Jasmina is a striking female with a gorgeous head, great bone density and conformation and a fleece that is both dense and crimpy. When Jasmina was born, she looked fawn, but then her fleece grew in Rose Grey, but then it went back to a fawn color. She is fawn now with a little bit of Rose Grey in her topknot. We believe she has those grey genetics coming from her Grandsire, Rayo del Sol. When we showed her during her Juvenile year, she first showed as a Rose Grey, taking a 1st place. Then a month later she showed in a large Light Fawn class, taking a 3rd. Obviously, the Judges were confused about her color as well!
Jasmina recently delivered a very beautiful Fawn female cria that we plan to keep. The sire was Skyline’s Francisco, our Med. Silver Grey Nuance son. Of course, we were hoping for a grey, but this little gal is so bright, fine and crimpy, we are very pleased. We still believe that Jasmina can give us grey so for her 2014 cria we are breeding her to ATV Silver Elation. I’m extremely excited for what these two can produce!
We are only offering Jasmina for sale, as again, we need to downsize and we would like to keep her 2013 cria. One really can’t go wrong with Jasmina. She is a great mom, had an easy delivery and has plentiful milk. Check her out on our Skyline Alpacas facebook page!
Description
Skyline’s Graceful Lady is just that! She is one to watch in the pasture as she moves so gracefully about. Gracie, as we call her, is one of our very special girls from the 2013 season -Another one that we hate to place on our sales list.
There are so many things to like about Gracie. Just look at her perfect conformation, such an elegant gal with straight top line, and legs. Her fleece is also awesome. It is super fine, 14.8 AFD, and very bright with nice character and good density. But what I really lover about Gracie is her genetics. Her Sire, Francisco, is our Light Silver Grey Herdsire out of Snowmass Nova’s Nuance. Francisco continues to show fineness, 22.7 AFD at 5 years of age. Pretty nice for a Grey! Her Dam, Jasmina, is a beautiful fawn gal out of our Black, Rayo del Sol daughter and a full Accoyo Light Fawn Sire. What this brings to Gracie is amazing deep color genetics while maintaining the fineness found in the best Light Fawn animals.
Don’t miss out on this Graceful Lady as she will bring fabulous genetics to your farm and likely produce some fine colored cria for you.
*** Gracie is ready to breed so if you purchase her NOW, you can choose the breeding. One could take her either way, breed her to Magistarate and likely get a beautiful fawn, or try to bring out her grey with a breeding to one of our fine grey males, your choice!
