PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, a full Accoyo male owned by Camelids of Delaware, Inc. was recently sold for a world's record price of $600,000.00 to two well-known breeders, Ernie & Barbara Kellogg, Double "O" Good Alpacas, and Mike & Robin Tierney, Maple Brook Alpacas.
Dam: Glory Be ARI#
825873 Medium Brown Confirmed pregnant to 6P Royal Gold. This pairing will likely produce a stunning dark cria. Considering what she produced from Royal Fawn, the results could be spectacular. Royal Gold has done a great job pulling grey from females lineages with four grey crias on the ground and only one dam was grey!
Glory Be's Sire is a 1/2 Accoyo rose grey. This dam consistently produces show winning, healthy, vigorous crias like clockwork. Never a moment of difficulty from this female or her crias. Glory Be produces black readily, including one of only three true blacks by the renowned Royal Fawn! Who went on to win both at AOBA and OABA. Show quality male cria at side.As a six yr old breeding female her fiber tested at only 23.4m
Service Sire: ELK Dom Lucilio's Eclipse ARI#
30546660 Bay Black Due Date: 10/20/2010 This a great opportunity to obtain a first class, show winning champion male at a great price. Our herd is decreasing and we greatly and have another male that has taken over his breedings.
Eclipse has been producing show winning crias with extreme fineness, density and character that the judges love. A high percentage of his offspring are modern greys (grey with no spots).
His sire, Dom Lucilio, is well known for producing consistent show winning offspring. His dam has been one of the top top show winning extremely dark, bay black, beautifully proportioned male with an extremely dense fleece that exhibits phenomenal character and uniformity. We have also been very pleased with the improvement he is producing over and above the dam.
From his very first cria crop he has produced numerous blue ribbons and champions. His sire, Dom Lucilio is likely the most awarded, proven son of the renowned Accoyo import, Royal Fawn.
Eclipse joined our Champion Herdsire Row with a Reserve Champion placement at ABR Fall Festival 2008. He also joins the Champions Producing Champions herdsire row with multiple champion and blue winning offspring on the ground.
Eclipse has done so well it would be a shame that he not to continue somewhere. He is an easy to handle and produces exciting crias with a future.
Description
The herd numbers are creeping up and we need to make some tough choices in our herd management. The good news is that after about 35 males in a row, we have been blessed with lots of girls this year. Even so, I can't believe we are offering this deal. "Indie" is one of only a handful of black females Royal Fawn has ever sired.
She is a multiple show winner, including a 1st at AOBA Nationals so you know she has great conformation and fleece. She breeds and conceives easily and takes great care of her newborn crias. She passes on her very trusting and calm demeanor which makes her and her cria cares enjoyable.
She produces beautiful high quality offspring. Her first two cria are both males destined to be herdsires. Her 09 cria sired is a modern rose grey male with no spots at all. See Stargazers Izar. Stargazers Taurus, her 08 Dark Brown cria is a super fine, show winning male getting started with his breeding career.
If you are serious about color and quality genetics, don't pass on $7,500 for a black AOBA National Blue Ribbon Royal Fawn Daughter!
This price is only being offered until she delivers!
