823548 White Chelsey is beautifully conformed PPeruvian Javier daughter who has thrown very nice cria. Javier is a Maggie Krieger owned sire from the Kenamori region of Peru and one of Canada's top herdsires. He is a two time get-of-sire winner and has had many champion offspring. Chelsey still has lustrous, crimpy fleece with good density.
She is an incredibly attentive and protective mother which has thrown color when bred to color. Her former fawn female that is a Patagonia Darwin daughter has a wonderful staple length with consistent, crimpy fiber.

On 8/22/2009, Chelsey presented us with a lovely medium fawn female sired by GB Alpaca's Tiger Woods. TIGER'S CASCADE DOLL was on our 2010 show string, bringing home blue ribbons from every show she attended!
On 6/19/2011, Chelsey gave us a beautiful medium brown female out of Snowmass Andean Midnight, our beautiful, compact jet true black, silky-soft male who holds an outstanding pedigree for fineness.
On 6/13/2013, Chelsey presented us with a pretty light brown female, also out of Snowmass Andean Midnight. Chelsey has had blue ribbon winners in the show ring, and this little one may do just that also. ESTATES CATALINA won 2nd Place at the 2014 TxOLAN show, in addition to several other ribbons during the 2014 show season.
On 6/23/2014, Chelsey gave birth to a handsome brown male also sired by Snowmass Andean Midnight whose crias have luster, fineness, and unique character on top of his excellent true black genetic package of brightness and handle.
Description
Summer was purchased to bring some density to our foundation. Summer is a solid production dam who any breeder could get many quality alpacas in the years to come. We have three daughters of Summer who we are using for our foundation breeding program. Let summer start to bring density and fineness to your breeding program. She is an easy breeder, great mother and gives birth with ease. She will feed any cria, which is really an incredible asset, an attribute difficult to find in the alpaca.
If you look at Summer's histogram at age 10 it quite impressive, she has an AFD of 23 but her SD is still below 4 at 3.9 microns. Even more amazing is her CV is only 16. Those values indicate she is very valuable as a breeding dam.
Summer's EPDs are more than respectable. Summer is above the national ranking in a number trait values. In the world of EPD breeding she will improve her cria fiber traits 6 of the 9 fiber character traits above the national herd norm by 75% at least in those 6 traits.
